how do you carry everything?

if its one thing i hate about motherhood its carrying him to and fro to the car along with everything else i have to hold, like his bag shopping e.t.c i seriously dont know how women with more than one baby can do it. i only have 2 arms and he is just 7.5 kilos and soooo heavy!
do you have any tips or advice? (i carry him in his car seat, that makes it heavier but if i held him on me i wouldnt have any more hands to carry things!) on a typical day im holding him in his seat 2 sets of keys a phone and a bag, oh and both my hands have skin gone hard and peeling because of holding his car seat. AAAAGH

I don't carry him in his car seat i find it to heavy, but if I do sometimes if I am lucky enough to park just outside my house I will take him in and then pop back out to get my things from the car!

Baby sling? Keeps your hands free. You can get such a wide variety, they needn't be ones that take about 5 minutes to tie up.

I hear you!! I tend to make sure I carry stuff in rucksacks or over the shoulder bags so I can carry Ruby. I can't carry her in her car seat, she's 9kg, way too heavy. Sometimes I leave stuff in the car and OH brings it in when he gets home

My car is parked right outside the front door (2 steps and im there) so i have no problems at home but when i go to my mums its a nightmare!! I've decided im gunna start taking Chloe out of the car seat as i find that so much easier!! Can't wait till theres loads of stuff i don't need in her change bag when im out lol!!

I just bring Ffion into the house and the changing bag then run out to get the shopping afterwards.

Same at the 2 previous posts, i tend to take LO in the house, put him in his jumperoo, and get the rest of my shopping/bags

However, i live in a little cul-de-sac, so not on the street, so i am happy to leave my front door open, with LO inside, while getting rest of shopping in, not sure what i would do if i lived on the street, maybe at Mum2bClaire does, leave bags for DH to get out when he gets home!

so i see the problem. i live on a first floor apartment. way too much bother to go back to the car. i park outside because i cant get in those under building parkings walk all the way to the door that needs a key to get in building, go in the lift and then unlock my door!
what i need is a new house!
