6 months, crying when i leave the room?


My 6 month old, cries and twists when i leave the room shes in. Even if shes playing happily.

Theres nothing wrong as when i come back she smiles and giggles
i
ts becoming impossible to get anything done!!

Please tell me its a phase?
Any suggestion on how i can help the situation as ill be going back to work in january and dont want to think she'll be upset

It's a phase.

Have you tried talking to her from wherever you are so she can still know you are kicking about and haven't left.

The other thing to try is to turn it into a game. Leave the room then pop your head back, but leave it longer each time. So, start with a few seconds then build it up to a minute and see how she takes it.

It is one thing I am not looking forward to!!

sounds like separation anxiety and yep it's a phase. unfortunately it was a phase that lasted for several months with Hannah

Im having this with Liam as well it breaks my heart to see him crying etc - ive started doing more things with him and it seems to be helping

He literally holds on to my trousers
