Dreading the clock going back.

Im really not looking forward to the clocks going back. I think it will really mess up all Roman's routine and pattern.

And he has now been waking at 6am every morning no matter what time he goes to bed. So when the clocks go back its going to be 5am.

Me toooo...

What I've been doing is gradually feeding Violet later.. We started off 15mins later and we're now onto 30mins later than normal. We're also trying to keep her awake longer at night before she goes to bed.

Fingers crossed it'll work!

I don't even know when the clocks go back lol! I just rely on my automatic clock in the kitchen that changes by satelite. I will prob just try and keep LO up a little longer than usual that evening, and if thats just not possible as hes too tired etc, then I will be getting up an hour earlier - doesn't bother me, he will soon settle into the new change in hour x

Are you all sure it will make any difference? I doubt it will. I won't bother putting Ruby to bed any later, because her bedtime varies between 6.30pm and 7.30pm anyway and it never makes a difference to her wake up time....

Well at the moment Roman seems to have a body clock that wakes at 6am. No earlier or later. So he wont know the clock has gone back and instead of being 6 which he will think it is it will be 5. And then the night after where he usually goes to bed at 8pm it will now be 7pm.

If she always wakes up at the same time though, then she's gonna wake an hour earlier then right?

We wake her up during the week. If she's not woken at 7am, like at weekends, she'll sleep til 8 or 8.30, regardless of when she's been put to bed. So if she doesn't get woken up at what her body clock considers to be 7am, (which will be 6am) surely she'll just go another hour or so like she does at weekends...

ah right, in your first post you said it didnt make a difference to her wake up time, I assumed that she woke up by herself not that you guys woke her.
