Hiya,

My LO was feeding around three times a night when I first brought her home. Now she has one feed or if i'm lucky sleeps right through now (think the most she slept without food was around 11-12 hours) and she is three and a half months. What's your LO feeding like through the day? Maybe increasing the feeds in the day might help a little.

Hope you get a good nights sleep soon....

i was feeding 4 to 5 times a night when i first brought bub home,
Now at 4 1/2 months old I am feeding 2 maybe 3 depends.

She goes down at night at 730 -800pm
up again for a feed at midnight (i dream feed if Im still up at 1030-11pm which goes through until 230-300)
The midnight feed (if needed) gets me until about 230-300am
Then up again maybe at 500-530am (sometimes dummy does the tirick till 600-630am sometimes I give up at 530am and give another bottle which gets me through till 730am)

Mind you, I have just taken bub off the boob during the night feeds or I was up EVERY 2 hours like clock work lol

She is forumla feed and has solids 3 times a day

Hope this helps mate. As i would be interested as well to see what I can do to minimise night feeds.

HB xx

When we came home LO would feed every2-3hours, throughout day and night.

It wasnt until we establised a good bedtime routine that the night feeds got better.

At 6 week, he was on a 3 hourly schedule, 7, 10, 1, 4, etc

At 10 weeks he was on a 4 hourly schedule, 7, 11, 3. Just before this, he had stopped whinging for a feed at 3hours (day and night) and also dropped his 1am bottle himself (just did not wake for it) So we ecided that we would go to 4 hours (day and night)

at about 12 weeks he would wake at 4am for a feed, go back to sleep, but then not want his 7:30am bottle and not be hungry till his next one at 11am. I then started to stop offering a bottle at 4:30 and just try to sooth/settle back to sleep. I honestly believe he was waking out of habit, and i was giving him a bottle out of habit. so since then, he has not had a bottle in the night.
