Frozen breastmilk when out & about

I am not sure what the guidelines are, so hope you can help. I have frozen breastmilk in the freezer and would like to give that to LO in a bottle when out & about, but not sure if that's possible...

How do you store the milk & heat it up? If I let the milk deforst in the fridge overnight, can I just pour it in the bottle in the morning and keep in the changing bag for few hours until it's needed?

hey, you might get a better reply in the BF forum.
i tend to defrost it in the fridge first. put it in change bag and give him quick feed before we leave. that way he wont be hungry for couple of hours and it has warmed up a bit (thomas wont drink it cold).
if you dont use it and its been left out of the fridge make sure you throw it away.

I used to thaw it out in the fridge and then put it in a cool bag (one of those bottle shaped ones) to keep it at fridge temp until I needed it. Then I'd warm it up in warm water that I had in a flask when I wanted to use it x

Good to know that it's ok to take the milk with me. I don't mind breastfeeding, but there are certain people I don't want to feed front of, like my boss & other people from work
