Hideous Skin!

Hello

anyone got any ideas why I have suddenly developed the most hideous acne all over my face? There are loads of sore, angry red lumps all over- they have been developing over the last few days. Emma is sleeping through so i am getting a good rest, etc- a bit confused by all this!

Has anyone gotrecommendations for a good spot clearing product? I have not had acne since I was a teenager and I am 33 now!

Thanks

lesley

Is it anything to do with the birth control you are using? or something like that? change in diet? I get periods of acne every now and then, and esp round time of the month (which until the other week I hadn't had one for a long long long time) and I got a load of spots then which I bloody hadn't missed. As for treatments I don't really think anything works for me other than keeping my face cleansed, toned and moisturised daily. And the odd face mask helps, tends to just clear up on its own.

hormones? Dunno, my skin has cleared up. But freederm is ace for the red lumpy ones, takes the redness away

Did your LO have milk spots that have recently cleared up? A hv told me that milk spots were caused bt baby getting my hormones from bf and that was why my skin was so clear. As soon as Harvey's milk spots cleared up I started getting a few spots. It might just be the hormones.

If you have any Sudocrem kicking about the house try that for getting rid of them.

Thanks eveyone. I'm not using anything hormonal as birth control- I was on the pill ince 18 and don't want to go back on it. Am breastfeeding and havent had a period yet but you are right Ruth, they look like period ones.

Emma hasn't had milk spots but I was thinking it must be hormonal. Honestly it is getting worse! Going away to try your tips and see what happens.

Thanks from a very plukey Lesley!
