Found a fab baby channel on sky - would highly recommend :-)

Hi all

Hope you are all well - not been on for a while been far too busy being a mummy to baby Jasmine - she is 5 weeks old now.

I went to a friends house last week and she has got a 2 year old and we got on to the conversation about tv programmes - my friend suggested on sky on 623 and 624 they are specifically for babies, after a certain time in the evening they have lullabys(spelling?) - its really good and be warned it can send you to

Let me know how you get on with it

Lynn x

the channels are called Babytv and Babyfirst......Maley loves them...they consist of three minute long different programs (though they do get repeated).....she wont sit and watch a half hour long cartoon but these three minute ones are great....she doesnt watch all of them but she has her favourite ones which she will watch from start til finish!

Alex loves these too. His favourite is Baby TV although I like the Baby Gym programmes on Baby First, we do those together.

Alex's favourite programmes are Pitch and Potch and the little bird that makes funny noises (diperdiperder) as he goes around - no idea what it's called. He gets so excited watching him

Baby tv is a god send.. And it's 24/7 so when they are being little sods and keeping you up all night you can plonk them infront of the tv

We find that. Abby watches the most bizarre stuff. We don't have her sit and watch TV as she is way too young, but sitting on our knee, she often turns her head to see the TV and sometimes she just glances but others she is transfixed. Edinburgh military tattoo had her glued!

American Chopper also takes her fancy and last night she loved casualty.

We tried Baby TV but it just annoyed us and she never even noticed it was on!

There is a music choice channel that plays lullabys at night, but tbh she prefers classical music. She just goes nuts for opera!
