help with nursery

Ok so after going through a zillion ideas of what we want to do for the nursery, OH and i have finally decided on having a Mr Men. theme now we know we're having a boy. Hubby is very creative and has a got a poster of all the Mr Men. characters and has been practicing drawing them onto the wall. I didn't realise he was so artistic, they look fantastic. We plan on dividing the wall into white and green for grass and then having the mr men characters scattered around, some big ones and little ones and hubby wants to draw a huge Mr Tickle on the back wall and have his winding arms stretching out round the room, as like a main feature. He also wants to do a Mr Tall as a height chart, which i love the idea of, but i think the Mr Tickle might make it look too busy, what does everyone else think? Too much or will it set off just right? Also if anybody has any really good images of the Mr Men theme, like the surroundings etc etc, could you send me a link, i'd be super grateful. We obviously have the grass, the sun and we're gonna scatter some daises and bees around but if anyone can think of anything else that's featured i'd really love to see it. Thanks ever so much and my apologies for the long post

Omg I love it. Super cute idea!! You said you were going to scatter bees around? I have an idea for that. Get some springs, and paint the bees onto thin wood, like balsa wood and mount them onto the springs, then attach the springs to the wall so they're sticking out, 3 dimensional. Maybe do some of the clouds like that too. I decorated my nieces room with the Winnie the Poo clings that stick to the wall and I did that with Tigger so it looked like he was bouncing. And I did it with bees and clouds also. Just an idea.

Oh wow! I never thought of doing anything like that, that would look fantastic, thank you sooo much. I'm not the most creative type so fortunately hubby has some ideas.

I don't think a nursery can be too busy really, it's meant to be fun for baby to look at and yours and hubbys ideas sound great!
