Maclaren Buggy -how old?

I bought one and the lable says for 3 months+ in the Uk and America but 6 months + EU

Which age would you say was the right one to follow? I don't want to do any damage to her back.

.................

And talking of backs... my lo wants to be sitting up all the time and will only voluntry lie on her back on her play mat or cot for bed, she has a swing but it says only to use for 40 minutes and she doesnt like her bouncy chair and tries to sit up so is a bit dangerous.
She can't sit unaided but I can't have her sitting up for most of the day on my knee watching tv as she's getting addicted to it!.
What did/do you do for yours around the 2-3 month mark? I'm at a bit of a loss as she doesnt want to sit in her lay down buggy much anymore.
