Temper Tantrums at 6 months?

Is this normal? I wasn't expecting it so fast. She is teething quite badly right now, but everytime I pass her and don't pick her up, or take something she's not supposed to have, she throws a nice little fit, throwing her head back and everything. Did anybody else start so young, or am I in for a long ride here?

Amelia doesn't throw a tantrum as such but will express (shout) her annoyance if i take somethig off her - no head throwing or thrashing arms and legs yet, though thankfully. I thought 6 months was early to be showing anger/annoyance too so not sure hun x

Paddy found his temper at that age, he does a awful high pitched scream when you do something he doesnt like, and if you give him something you cannot take it off him. I just say NO not shouting but sternly to him and still take it off him if its something that hes not to have. I think im in for a long haul, although hes a pleasent baby i think hes gonna be a monkey. x

Lucy found her temper around 6 months. She would be horrible, kicking and waving her arms and screaming until she got what she wanted. Shes always hated having her nappy put on and this was when it started, she used to do it at every single nappy change but luckily has grown out of it now (until it starts again!!) xx

oh yes!! We are facing massive tantrums if madam does not get her own way. She HATES getting dressed after bath time a trys to crawl away from us- when we grab her back she throws a major one.

All she wants to do is crawl around - anything else and she goes mad.
