Try squirting some breastmilk up there, I find it really helps.

Never heard of that before but I will try it tonight as my lo is also really struggling at the mo. I use Karvol but I can't remember if they have to be 3 months or not!

My LO gets a really bugery nose and I find the aspirator we have doesn't work, so I use a q-tip,forget what they call them in the UK,, but you probably know what I mean, I use a skinny little one with not to much bulk on the end and gently put it up the nostril, give a little twirl, and pull it out. I am sure any doctor would say you should NEVER do this!!! but I find it works so good, it always comes out with a big buger on the end lol. and Aloura seems to love it, as she always smiles when I do it, I think it must tickle And hey, I am always careful, and my baby has to breath right??

Run a nice hot shower so the room is all steamy and take LO in there to inhale the steam - usually helps.

I use this sucky thing that my mum bought me from mothercare, it really helped the first couple of weeks as he got a cold when he was born.

It also helps to raise the head end of his mattress slightly, and as someone else mentioned steam will help. xx

Mia was in hospital a couple of weeks ago with a cold, she has a problem with blockages with her nose anyway this is why she cant handle having a cold as its bad enough for any little nose to deal with but she doesnt have wide enough airways as it is so she needed them to give her oxygen. But when she was there they said babies should be given saline drops, try putting them in a steamy bathroom with you. And also using an aspirator may help. They said other than that there is not much else you can do to help them.
