Reflux and attatchment parenting

Hi ladies, so Joe has refux , and on my travels when I've been reading I've seen a lot that says adapting aspects of attatchment parenting can help. We already co-nap, but not co-sleep, he uses his crib between bedtime and 5am, and I have a baby carrier.
Does anyone use AP to help deal with their reflux baby, what do you do, and how do you think it has effected them and the reflux...do they cry less, seem less uncomfortable?
Thanks

I found this for you, maybe it will help some

http://greenmomhappymom.com/acid-reflux-babies/

I also found this
" 4. Try attachment parenting. At its worst reflux can make it impossible for some babies to be put down because it is painful for them to sit or to lie flat and because they feel so much more secure and comforted being held by a parent. For this reason a good sling can be an excellent investment. Attachment parenting has been shown to reduce crying. This is important in reducing the stress involved in coping with a constantly crying child. The effect of crying has on parents and the whole family cannot be over stated. Attachment parenting is not for everyone however. It can be very physically demanding during a time when a mother can be close to running on empty from a physical and emotional point of view. Also if you intend to try attachment parenting you need to take a long term view of it. Reverting to a non-carrying parenting method when reflux is relieved or gone can be difficult. On the other side, some parents may find they have no choice but to practice attachment parenting because their baby literally cannot be put down. It requires a lot of support and it really is worth shopping around to find slings, chairs and pillows that suit your baby and which can make your job a little easier."

From this site http://www.myrefluxbaby.com/treatments.html

Hope that helps!! None of my boys had reflux so no personal experience with that, but we do practice AP

Thank you mommyof3co, the bits you have found are great. I'm looking at getting a sling, we have a carrier, but it's the Tomy structured one, not great for in the house x

I would think about something like a mei tai..or a wrap...where he is sitting up, so you can feed him then put him in that and go about your day and he's sitting up. In a sling at his age he will really need to lay down in it to be comfortable most likely
