screaming

Past couple of days Joshua has had a period of screaming. 2 hours constant last night, when he wasn't screaming he wanted to be feeding. He's just been doing it again for the last hour. The scrream is like he's in pain, and nothing I do seems to help.

Any advice?

Sounds like he's going through a growth spurt hun. It's normal at 3 weeks. Pain in the bum for you, but he'll want to feed non-stop for a day or so then should get back to normal. xxx

Sounds like colic. Roman was exactly the same until i started giving him dentinox. Worked wonders.

Colic or growth spurt. If its a growth spurt then it will be over in a few days but if its colic then it could last a lot longer. We found baby massage really helped with our LO's colic, also drinking camomile tea about an hour before feeds (I was breastfeeding) really calmed him down. Obviously that won't work if you are FF but there are loads of drops out there like infacol and dentinox.

we're having the same problem with Halen, and when he does go to sleep, the second we put him in his moses or his bouncer whatever, he wakes up and screams, rooting around for more food.

He ate that much so quickly this morning he threw it all straight back up over my bed

aww we've had that to ... in the middle of the night. Having to change the sheets then is not fun!

Finally got him to sleep last night, just after 9. He fell alseep while nursing, lay him in his moses basket and he didn't wake up. Phew! But he was making kinda whimpering/groaning sounds. Poor thing,
