calpol...to give or not to give?

So my little man seems to be teething...he has 2 teeth at the front & is drooling all the time and doesnt seem himself.
Im not sure when to give him calpol?
Do you give it to your LO or do you let them get through it without?
Thanks

I give my LO calpol for teething as he wakes in the night now too. I've only given it when needed but it really seems to settle him down.

Also, have you tried calgel on the gums? I've found that works a treat too

I give Amelie calpol if she moans constantly even after Ive done all the usual things (feed, nappy change, cuddle, play) and if teething gel isnt working. I only give her 2.5mls, never had to do 5mls yet.

I give it to Tabs most nights at the moment as she has 4 more teeth coming through at the same time It must be sore and although my OH doesnt like any medication i feel mean i dont want her to be uncomfertable.

I personally don't give it unless they really need it, when you can tell they need it. If they are sick and miserable they get it or fevers over 102. For teething we bought teething necklaces that work much better anyways, but we don't give meds like that for teething unless it was bad..but with the necklace it's never bad anymore. I'm not big on meds at all so

When I think she needs it and nothing else seems to be working I'll give it. I wouldn't want to suffer through pain without relief.
