Nappy marks?

When lo was first born i was using pampers newbaby.. the one day when i changed her i noticed she had loads of little marks aall around her legs and bum from where the nappy had been, i thought i must of been doing it too tight so i started doing it a bit looser, but she still had them?

I thought maybe the nappies were too small ( when she was about 2/3 weeks) so i moved onto size 2's, but shes been getting them still?

Im DEFINATELY not doing them up too tight, if so theyre looser than they should be.

Anyone else have this?

We do...

I thought it was cos his thighs were getting chubby but now I think it just depends on how he sits and what he is wearing as some day he has marks other none!

He isnt bothered by them..but I think they look sore and uncomfy.

We found that at first so we switched between different brands (they are different shapes so make contact in different places!) when we changed his nappies. We're using a combination of disposable and cloth now so it's not a problem

Yeah Violet gets them too - across her bum cheeks and round her legs
Doesn't matter if we use pampers or huggies, do them loose or tight and she'll even get them when she's in just her nappy or just a vest so I don't think it's what she's wearing that does it

I think its normal hun...my 2 have always had them when they were younger, lying down or sitting because of the pressure, Paige still gets them now because she has chubby thighs

ithink it is just where they make contact with the skin directly ( like when we wear jeans and end up with a button imprint on our belly ) unless it actually looks like its chaffing i wouldnt worry

Are the marks all in slightly different places though? They were with us so he'd have say a huggies, then pampers, then asda nappy on, we mixed them up so the lines didn't get too deep. Don't think I explained it all that well!

x
