still no stroller but will get one today. any suggestions, ladies?????

yay!!!!! finally getting the stroller today. didn't get it before as some friends wanted to give it as a gift and we've only just managed to get ourselves together in one city this weekend.

no worries for me & elijah, though, as he's been in his moby wrap which he loves.

any suggestions on which one to get, ladies? i was thinking of the graco travel system... my friends suggest chico. don't really know for sure. will appreciate input from the ladies who've gone through travel systems & can recommend one for me & elijah.

thanks, ladies!

I'm not sure what all they carry there but out of Graco and Chicco I would def say Chicco. I had graco, eddie bauer, chicco and a couple of others and by far my Chicco was the best, I still use it with Hayden I love it!

can you please tell me what made you like it better than the rest?

(they pretty much stock up on most brands here. if nowhere else, mothercare has them.)

I liked that it reclined fully...laid completely flat and also the part where their feet go under the tray..that folded up so it was like a little bassinet so I would layer some blankets in when he was really little and he would nap really well when we were out. It also has a nice big basket that is really easy to get to (unless laying flat it's a bit harder then) it's also really easy to fold, not too bulky, not the smallest though. Their infant seats, which I also got to match, are awesome too and they worked really well together. It's easy to push, not too heavy, turns well. And they have some really nice color combinations. Do you already have the infant seat or will you be getting that too?

Their infant seats are great too, my favorite I've had for the boys...I always bought a new one with each so I've tried out 3 diff brands of those. But this was by far the most comfortable...the padding for younger babies is great too, better than just the thing that goes around the head. And it rear faces to 30lbs which is great...some only do 22lbs so I would try and get the 30lb one if I were you. Hayden was in it until 10mo and 19lbs and still had plenty of room we just went ahead and got a convertible one at that time though.

Good luck finding one that works for you!!!

I had the ones you have to buy seperately..the carseat and the stroller instead of in one. But it was the "extreme" color...really nice, it's like an orangy red color.

Which green do you like? The adventure in the cortina 30 or the discovery in the cortina 22? You should def go for the cortina 30 if you have the option and like one of the colors they have

I like my Peg Perego Uno.. it's not the best for going in the trunk, like it's fine in our Jeep Patriot but takes up the whole trunk in the Mustang or the Focus..

Like: it's easy to switch from baby facing you and baby facing away from you. It can be used from newborn (fully reclined, pram looking thing) to toddler (sitting upright). You can get the car seat that attaches to it also. Not very heavy, the wheels are nice, I like the look of it.

Dislike: basket is quite small. I don't like steering it when the wheels are locked.. I wish I could collapse it and hold Elyse at the same time (fold it up with one hand)
