Mine started leaking at 34 weeks when I was in hospital but didn't fully go 'gush' shame I didn't cover the surgeon in my waters after I bled all over him and the floor when I had my csection as it might have diluted it a bit I did lots of apologising for the mess I made of the surgeon and the theatre!

At home in bed at 5.30am....wasn't a big gush or anything though...they just trickled now and again all through my labour. My contractions started not long after x

Mine exploded while I was in bed asleep. Although it was 0930 so really I should have been up! I ruined a mattress, a duvet and the bedroom, landing and bathroom carpets! I had so much water on board that the MW thought my dates were two weeks back but actually they were 2 weeks behind and he was only 6lbs even though I was measuring 2cm over and everyone thought I was set for an 11lber!!! When DH got him from work I was sat naked in the bath showering myself down as it just didn't stop!!!

Mine in the hospital about an hour before my LO arrived. It could have been longer but I was pretty out of it by this point to remember. I just remember how bad it smelled as it had meconium in it but luckily he hadn't swallowed any.

the midwife broke mine when i was in labour in hospital. and they exploding all over her..was like a tidal wave! she had to go and get changed! x
