Dreami Carrycot

Was just wondering if any of you Quinny user gals used the Dreami Carrycot as a moses basket during the day/night. Spoke to the pram center where Ive ordered my Quinny from and they say that it is safe to do so as long as u purchase a new mattress for it.

My only problem now is trying to find a stand to put it on. Ive seen a couple of carrycot stands online but I cant find the dimensions for the carrycot and the dimensions for the stand dont seem to be listed either. Anyone be of any help?

Thanx in advance (sorry for gatecrasing AGAIN )

Hiya I use the dreami carricot for day and night use. Alex is very comfy in it and sleeps like a dream!!!

I use a babiesrus standard moses basket stand and it is safe in there.
The stand states max dimension of 800mmx320mm and minimum of 670mmx270mm.

Hope that helps.

Yeah I did

I used a stand I had for my other moses basket - I used my moses basket downstairs and the carrycot upstairs. Wierdly he slept better in the carrycot im not sure why - maybe because it was black and not white I dont know.

I never got a new mattress :s and he was fine, used normal moses basket sheets - however he grew so fast he wasnt in it too long as they are quite narrow in the middle.

Heres a piccy for ya

Thanx Netty thats great going to have a look on babies r us website just now. Is it just the static one you have?

My LO isnt due till Sept so it will be freezing in Scotland by then LOL. It will be mainly for daytime naps in the house as we have a cot in our room, just want to get use out of it instead if buying a seperate moses basket. I know they grow out of these things quick but I ll be happy if I can get a couple of months out of it then ill store it for the next one (Sshhh dont tell my OH that )

Yeah then you'll be ok using that as a basket - plus the fleece lining will help in Scotland Its really usful having two places for them to sleep in the house because I was worried carrying him up and downstairs all the time and using the handles on the basket.

Good Luck with the baby!

xx
