Forgot to tell you what happened to me yesterday.

I was waiting in the mother and baby area for a chap to leave, so I could have his space. In the meantime, someone ahead of me left, so I made a move to go to that space. A guy came from behind me and nipped straight in. I was a bit cross at myself for not being quicker, but never mind, I just waitied for the initial guy to leave. I was fine about it. Until I realised that the guy that nicked the other spot HAD NO BABY OR CHILD!!! I was bloody furious. I went to his car and he didn't even have a child seat in there.
So I took his reg and went to customer services and what did they do? Bog all.Wouldn't put a call out to him or acknowledge it in any way. They said that it is upsetting to all parties if they ask the customer to move their car. They wouldn't even contact him and ask him to be more considerate to others. I was furious!! Apparently, Tesco are looking into a pass system - similar to disabled drivers. Like thats going to work!
Anyway, just had to vent. Knob!

Some people are so inconsiderate ! Tesco do already have a pass system don't they ? I have a tesco baby permit to park in the spaces although I never see anyone else with them on display and like you have highlighted above no one 'polices' the spaces anyway.

Something else that infuriates me is when parents park in these spaces when they haven't even got their kids with them !!!

i know exactly what you mean as this has happened to us numerous times at tesco, and like yourself we took down the reg no and took it to the cust services desk and what did they do??? absolutely nothing, in order to use the parent and baby spaces you must be a member of the parent and baby club which gives you a little disk to display in the window of your car when parking there but no one listens and like that poeple with no kids park there - why have a pass then if they'll just let anyone park there and do nothing about it.....

sorry for the rant its just that this issue infuriates me

or when one parent stays in the car with the kids, whats the point, just take a normal space if you're not getting the kids out, parents need those spaces to get carseats etc or small toddlers out!!

I've never really been that bothered as Rich used to do the same thing before we had Jasmine, and 2bh we tend to park in the normal spaces anyway.

You should of parked across him and blocked him in .... like they say they couldnt ask you to move as it would be "upsetting" to all parties
