Tantrums

Joel is 16 months old, and out of no where he hes starting throwing tantrums when he cant have his own way. Hes taking a liking to hitting me too.
Any ideas appreciated because im clueless after ignoring him etc lol

Behaviour like that should definitely be nipped in the bud. First, I would try the naughty step and be persistent about it. Explain to them calmly why he is there and when he does calm down, he needs to apologize and then give him a big hug for doing that.

Ignoring the behaviour can help sometimes too. When they see that they are not getting a reaction from you, they often will "get it" and stop.
