Tumble tots

Does anybody take their children to it? I took Jasmine yesterday with my friend and her daughter and she didn't want to get off my knee. I need to make her more sociable but i'm out of options!

it was probably a daunting the first time. id keep going if you want her to go, and she'll get more confident as she gets used to it.
i also figure that babies will become more indepenant as they get older and as the gain indipendence they will probably want to socalise more, dont worry she'll be fine just give it some time

I'd say just keep taking her to things and make an effort to get her to realise its ok to be independent. I had a VERY clingy little girl and she still can be when she feels like it.

But we go to play centres, swimming group and a tumble tots type thing, as well as play dates at friends houses etc.

When we got to places she would cling, so I used to take her off my lap and sit next to her on the floor etc, so she knew I was there, but didnt need to be attached, I didnt want to re-enforce her "fear". I dont know if that was the right thing?

But she is quite independent 90% of the time when we are out now.
