Ok, so Jasmine is really good at playing with paint and play doh, but is there anything else she could really be doing with them? I want to improve her social skills and she already colours and plays with her etch a sketch..

Can't remember how old Jasmine is, she's just over 1 isn't she. Some of these ideas might be good when shes a bit older.
Have you made any gloop? Its a mixture of cornflour and water and it feels really strange.
You could put her outside with a bowl of soapy water and some plastic dishes so she can wash up, or she could wash dolls.
You could go for a walk and find bits to stick on a collage. When shes older you could do colour collages and find certain colours.
Sand play/water play.
There are loads of different painting techniques you can do. Printing-vegetables, blocks, corks etc. Finger painting. You could put paint in a tray and let jasmine swirl her fingers around then take a print of it. You can use sponges, brushes, straws, sprays.

One thing my son used to love was i'd give him a jug or pot of water, then give him a cheap big paintbrush (like you'd use for decorating) and he would go outside and pretend to paint the house, fence, car etc and it would keep him happy for ages. He also enjoyed washing his little tikes truck.

Hope it gives you a few ideas.

I've been thinking of letting Char play with play-doh or a sand box or something, but....think she's old enough for those activities? She walking and such really well already so...maybe?
