Dr Brown bottles....how long did it take.....

.....for them to work for you?

Our Lo seem to have gripping pains/colic on/off since saturday (sometimes here and there up to 3/6 hours of winging crying)...i changed teats to start with but today i decided to change bottles and opted for Dr Browns.
He's since had 2 feeds today with these bottles but no difference so far.

Did these work for you?
How long it took?

Any details you can give would be appreciated.

Babies don't just take on wind coz of bottle/teats etc. I breastfeed and my babies get wind but there are no bubbles in my boobies.

Babies also take in wind when swallowing in general and crying also increases the amount of wind they get as does the way their body breaks down the milk so some milks may make baby windier than others just like beans and pulses make us more windy IYKWIM.

Sitting baby up as straight as possible to wind them often helps too. I used to wind my 1st two children as they lay upright on my chest but I've since found that sitting them up very straight helps the wind come up better, alternate patting and rubbing between the babies shoulderblades

Well that was the main reason with Jayden.. coz he was taking in air bubbles when I was feeding him and these Dr Brown bottles reduce the build up of air. And now he doesnt wriggle at all so I know that was the cause for him. All babies are different.

They worked pretty much from day 1 with Jasmine, she never suffered colic again afterwards.

Yeah it is one of the causes I just wanted to let Penguin know it wasn't the only way they can get wind. I use the Dr Browns bottles too for EBM and Erin still does a couple of huge burps when finished
