My little man is having oral surgery


Well i had my first mw home vist and due to the fact his tongue-tis is even affecting trying to bottle feed as well as breastfeed they have decided he really should have this done so im to expect a phone call tomorrow or the day after with a date for it to be done

Have no experience of tongue tie but just wanted to send you .

My daughter is having surgery for a cleft palate in a few weeks so i can imagine how you are feeling.

My friends son just had something done for that as he has a cleft lip and palate.

Ill just be glad when its done so he will be able to eat properly and want to eat, he gets so mad at him self

rhys had it done hunni, its sounds alot worse than it is i promise the result is instant and it literally took one second to do it, its really common.
think rhys moaned a bit at having his head held still and was more bothered about that than the procedure but the mw put him straight to me to feed and that was that all done.
x

Since im home already and will have to take him in to get it done we wont be made to stay in will we? kind of like and in and out job? i get soo stressed and scared and upset in hospitals i mean i was only in 1night but i was on the phone crying Couldnt sleep nothing

my cousin had to have this done because they were concerned his tongue tie would affect his ability to speak. He's doing well now though, so I hope it goes well for your son as well!!
