Amby Nature Nest v. Moffii Miyo hammock

Love to hear opinions on these two baby hammocks from ladies who've used one or both of them. For some reason, there are loads of Amby hammocks on eBay but hardly any Miyos at all - is this cos the Miyo is so amazing that nobody wants to get rid, or is it cos they're not very good and so people don't buy them in the first place?

Any thoughts welcome. xx

We've just had an Amby nest bought for us, and though it'll be a while before LO is here, we're chuffed with it already, just from setting it up . I've not read anything bad about the Miyo ones, for me it was the difference in price, and that I don't like the design

TBH, I can't see much difference between the two, except in aesthetics. Both of them will do the same thing, are for the same age group, and look pretty similar (except for the frame).

It could be that Miyo hasn't been around as long, which is why there aren't as many 2nd hand? Just guessing there, I don't really know hehe. Certainly I knew about Amby before I knew about Miyo.

I hope you find out from someone who's tried one, I'd be interested to know if there are any major differences too

I finally got my Amby last week, but have never tried the other one. I've brought it as a following on from her moses basket as she's already too long for that and the Amby should last for a year. I was worried she wouldn't settle in it since she was used to going to sleep somewhere still, but she's actually taken to it really well and takes all her day naps in it ans still sleeps in her cot at night. It's not the miracle it seems to be with other babies, where they fall asleep as soon as they are put in it, but after a few minutes of rocking her and a bit of mild complaining she settles really well. She looks soooooo cute in it too I'd recommend it.

Btw I got an ex-display one off babyworld.co.uk for £120 (they still have some left), plus if you sign up to the babyworld club (which is free) you get £10 off your first order over £80.... plus I didn't need to get a new mattress Bargin I thought.

Amber loved her Amby, but it was just too big for our pokey wee house so I have just sold it on.

the miffi looks more designer and tbh, the actual hammock looks less safe (the feet end is open).

Patrick loved his Amby and I loved it too as if he got a bit grumpy in the night, I could reach out and bounce him back to sleep in no time. However it only lasted us to 5 months as by then Patrick could roll over in it and after finding him on his hands and knees in it for the 3rd time, had to move him into a proper cot. Had hoped to get more use out of it as a bed. Am using the frame now as a bouncer though as I bought the jumpjump attachment.

you must hve looked at a older one! the miffi is really stable the one we have and the feet end is def not open its safer than the amby in our opinion!
