shaving after 1st degree tear

hey all.
I need some advice. I had a 1st degree tear with my son 2 weeks ago. I now finally feel its heald (although havent looked at it to check!), but im used to keeping that area completely shaven. Do you think it will be ok to shave now? Im terrified about nicking it and it starting all over again! But i cant stand not being shaven!

Luckily my husband doesnt mind either way - but i need to! Or shall i hold off for another couple of weeks?

Thanks Hels x x

I would hold off if you can stand it, or at least look at it to make sure its totally healed. 2 weeks doesn't seem like it would be done healing, but I had a c-section so I wouldn't know.

i have no experience of this, as this is my first, but could you perhaps try cream or just trim the hair for now??
