caitlin is walking but I disagree I think they should wear shoes when crawling and moving about! But hey.. that makes us different

Oh I know she is I wasn't saying you were wrong or anything lol. Just saying what's recommended by drs and such because putting shoes, especially hard soled on babies before walking or while first walking can actually mess with the development of their feet, the arches and such. That's another reason soft soled such as the robeez I had posted about are really good for their feet because it lets their feet develop naturally yet protects them while outside walking. Another good brand is pediped though...here is something from their site

http://www.pediped.com/Home/softsoles.aspx

they have some really cute stuff

Hiya Doll, dont know if someone has mentioned this but my 1st daughter was exactly the same, and someone advised us to take her to a shoe shop, like Clarks and casually get her feet measured and let her play with all of the shoes, then if she clings to a certain pair buy them!

I know Daisy is going to be the exact same cos she scrunches her feet everytime I try to put a soft pram shoe on her!

Crawlers are great if you can get them to wear them

She picked her shoes, she was fine in the shop, walked out wearing them, got home, wore them to toys'r'us.... Hasn't let me put them on since

Toria, have you tried wellies? My old charge was like this and all she would wear was her wellies. all the blummin' time.

Now she has hit 2 she wants to wear crocs all the time. I bought a cheapo pair to run around in. . .she wore them to legoland and they got wet in the fountains (which was the idea!!) but she got most annoyed and kept telling everyone that "my cocks are wet".

This could get expensive!
