airport security rules-- baby milk


we are going to italy in august for 4 days..

not planning to check and baggage in just the pram..

so obv i need to take milk for luisa,,,

i was planning on taking bottles with boiled water and powder in powder dispenser.. is this allowed?

i was also planning on carrying thru the tub of formula for restof trip...

I think that may be ok. I know you have to taste a bit of whatever is in the bottle. I'm not sure if they will screen the powder somehow. It's all a bit ridiculous but obviously some people do use that kind of thing in acts of terrorism or smuggling or whatever. I'm dreading going over to America, they'll probably refuse to let me on board with a changing bag!!

No they won't have any problem with the powder but they do make you taste every single bottle! Apparently it is only the US and UK airports so I doubt you will be asked to do it on the way back. Also they make you screen everything - including the pushchair - so it can be quite hard trying to balance holding the baby, tasting everything, repacking everything etc etc even with two people!! Bloody airports and airlines.

no i wasnt invited

well i got a msg about a march mums meet but i dont think it was local.. and i didnt have they money too travel and get accomadation but hatfield is local lol..

luisa was born in welwyn and we are in ware..

three of us going me oh dad and luisa so 4

considered checking in pram straight away to avoid security plava.. as we have a baby carrier...

bex i think im gonna avoid america for a few years i havent got the enegry yet lol
