Thats a good thing though! Be glad, cause once you've smoked and it's got hold of u, apparently it never goes away.

My mum quit 20years ago when she got preg with me, she says even now she has a craving sometimes

i gave up as soon as i thought it was our month! and i got my bfp! haven't gone back since. i suppose i was a social smoker, and did love a fag with a glass of wine, still crave it now, but have resisted! so i suppose i am now an ex-smoker?!

I stopped smoking the day before i found out i was pregnant, 2nd june 2008......i still havent smoked......but my god i really want too!!

I stopped smoking in 2005 cos my ant died of lung cancer

but after i had sam in 2007 i got really bad postnatal deppression n i thou it was the only way i could cope but now i cant stop so i only ever smoke at the front door x

I used to smoke before I was pregnant. I didn't smoke when I was pregnant. Although I had a pack of 10 right at the end, ( I just fancied some ) I have never been addicted. ( No-one believes me on this ) But I have give up cigs easy peasy before. I just enjoy smoking? Lol. I could give them up tommorrow and it wouldn't bother me. But I aint doing because I enjoy it. I smoke in the kitchen, NEVER around Lexie. My mum does the same

I gave up when i found out i was pregnant with Benn and havent looked back. Do sometimes think a fag would be nice now but i wouldnt i know if i have one ill start back up again. I really enjoyed smoking at the time i loved a drink and a fag.

Smoking is an addiction and as with all addictions that "urge" or "craving" never leaves you ... even if you give up for years and years you can still slip back into it so easily.

I felt like that as well hun but im free of it now. I do very rarely think a fag would be nice but i dont get that craving or the feeling i have to have one. I smoked for 11 years and thought id never escape it.

I smoked until I found out I was pregnant in 2005. I have had three children since then and haven't had a fag because I don't want to miss out on any of my children's lives and as it is I panic about how much damage I may have caused to my body when I smoked for 10 years. To smoke is to potentially deny my children a mother in the future and I can't see it's worth the trauma that could cause them, especially as it is totally avoidable. Personal opinion of course. Oh and by the way I am an all or nothing smoker....ie...have one puff and I'd be back on 20 a day no problems hence why I have to be very strict with myself!!!
