my babies 1st day at nursery!

well today she has started nursery for 1 day a week for 12 weeks (funded from health visitor) i cant believe it, it feels so weird her not being here! she went fine tho to the nursery worker/manger and snuggled right into her lol giving her a cuddle. im so glad she didnt make a fuss otherwise i would be beside myself now!

if she settles in really well there i was going to keep her there for one day a week to benefit us both. its £34 for the day, they provide absolutley everything. is tht good?

yeh i thought it sounded fairly cheap considering the nurery and staff are AMAZING. they provide all homemade food, nappies, wipes, they have gone out and bought her a brand new mattress for her cot which no other baby is aloud to touch (dont think they know thats it very unlikely she will sleep their ) all new bottles, beakers all labelled for her . they take them out atleast once day! its sooo clean and hygenic there.

oh and they take pictures of them playing etc and create a scrapbook for me

Sounds really lovely. We pay £37 per day. That includes his food (breakfast, lunch and dinner and snacks) but we have to bring his milk and bottles and nappies in for him.

Just curious - why is your health visitor paying for it?

well its a brand new nursery and they have given the health visitors some funded place for 1 day a week for 12 weeks to give out at their own discression (sp) im guessing because they filled up the spaces yet not sure??

my health visitor has always liked me lol (dont want sound big headed but she has lol) and summer has always been a rubbish sleeper so she gave a place to me to give me some 'me' time. even tho summer now sleeps through night as of last week!

she said she admires me because iam only young and have just moved out of my parents house in with my boyfriend and have done such a fantastic job apparently?!?!

bless her!
