Returning to work

Hi guys,
Just wondering what everyones plans were with returning back to work. Am curious to know if people will be going back , if so after how long, for how many days and what did you work before baby. Also where will LO be going. Sorry there are so many questions but am curious to know what others are doing.
I am already dreading the thought of going back
Thanks in advance ladies xx

Hiya

I went back full time 4 weeks ago. I work 37.5 hours over 5 days. Seth goes to nursery 4 days and he's with his nan and grandad the other day.

It's hard at first, but the thought of going back was worse than the reality. Seth absolutely loves nursery and I trust the girls who look after him 100%, they're fantastic, and that makes it a lot easier.

I'm not saying it's easy because it's not, we're in the position where we can't afford for me not to work but it's not going too badly. It makes me appreciate the weekends more, and I've become more driven to get a better job too. I feel like if Im going to have to be there I may as well be making as m,uch money as possible!!

Good luck hun

xxx

I am taking just over 12 months, then going back 2.5 days and my parents will look after Poppy. Just thinking about it makes me feel sick. I really really hope the thought of it is worse than the reality

I'm due to go back at the end of August, but if I get the new job I'll be going back in a month or so part time, my mum will have her 2 days a week, and OH will take a day off and have her for the other day.
I'm really hoping that I don't have to go back early, as I'll miss her so much, but it'll be good for her to bond with her dad and nanny, and not be so clingy with me. Also it's only really 3 days a week. I think that the thought of it is alot worse than when it actually happens.

I went back to work 4 weeks ago when Katie was eight months. I work 30 hours a week over 4 days and have every wednesday off when I take her to mothers and toddlers group. The 2 grannies look after her 2 days each and i get to see her 3 times a week at lunchtime. I was dreading it but 4 weeks on it is much easier than I thought it would be!

Thanks ladies, i was convinced that i would be the only one having to go back. Feel so much better now. I use to work 5 days a week but will only be going back 2 or 3 days. My mum and mil will share the childcare which is great. They so can't wait for me to go back!!!
