2ww after Ovidrel & Follistim

Hey Ladies,
Ok, here's the deal..... was going to leave B&B after not getting any responses with my last post.... but decided to try again and post in assisted conception since i did injectables w/ovidrel.
So I am about 9 or 10 dpo and 11 dp ovidrel trigger shot.... I know that the HCG hormone stays in your system a while and some dr's recommend you test out the hormone by taking HPT one week after the trigger and as soon as the line is gone then if you get another line again then that would be a true +.... well i really didn't want to do that since I thought it might make me crazy. However today, I took a HPT and got a very very faint line. I am thinking its still the trigger shot in my system... but figure I would re-test sunday or monday... my beta is set for monday morning. I've heard sometimes it can be out of your system 7-10 days or sometimes as late as 13 or 14 days..... Any thoughts? I am trying my best not to get my hopes up of course.

I didn't want to read and run but good luck to you! Lots of baby dust! This was my first month with a trigger shot so I am waiting to test until my 2ww is over. Sorry I dont have any other info.

Hey, I have used the Ovidrel shot with my last IUI and the shot was completely out of my system at about 12 day. That was the last day I got a line of any kind. I decided a week past IUI I would test it out. Hopefully that line sticks for you! I would test in 2 days and see how the line looks. Good luck!

For myself, I testing out my trigger 9 days later but I hear it can take quite a lot longer

I would suggest to keep testing to see if it fades even more or gets stronger.
