The Chaucer Hospital, Kent. 2012. Who's starting treatment?

Hi
Well after ttc for over 6 years with a m/c, ruptered ectopic (tube removed) and failed IUI under my belt me and my dh are moving on to bigger things, IVF at the Chaucer.
For the first time in a long time i'm feeling really hopeful that is it, this is going to work.
So if theres anyone else out there that is also starting/started fertility treatment at the Chaucer and has advice/wants advice I though we could all meet here and hopefully over time celebrate as miracles happen and our dreams come true, and also support each other if it doesn't work.
At the moment I am in a bit of limbo, just waiting for my letter from the Chaucer to go in for our first chat. All the tests have been done so now its just a waiting game, i expect i'll probably start cycle after next which will be around the 10th of March.

Hi there Hispirits

My DH and I are at exactly the same stage as you and through the Chaucer. We are just waiting for our letter telling us the date of our first appointment at the Chaucer and then it is all systems go!!! We too have had all the tests done and are just playing the waiting game now!

We sent our consent forms back to the Chaucer at the beginning of December and I called them last week as we hadn't heard anything but it seems they are awaiting one set of blood test results from Medway - typical of them to be delaying things!!!

My DH and I both worked out the other night that we will probably be starting treatment in March too so fingers crossed and positive thoughts for both of us

All the best

Hi Bert!!
Great to speak with someone else at the beginning of the journey!
My referal was from Canterbury hospital, The Dr i saw there is called Miss Geyoshi (i've been to her a few times for referals and infertility) because we've had IUI at the Chaucer in the past, we were able to use the sperm analysis results from then, which has sped things up a bit.
I've read in another forum medway are pretty useless with their paper work. I'd get on to them and chase it up.
I'm going to start chasing if i haven't heard anything by the end of next week!
Keep me posted on how its going! good luck!!!
