Well, I thought I may aswell jpin you all with a journal!
I'm 25 and my OH is 20, we've only been together for 9 months but decided a baby together is what we both want so much so why not!
I already have 3 children from a past relationship, the youngest has a different biological father, we split up before i realised I was pregnant, but he decided do vanish after i told him. Even tho id split up with the father of my other 2 he was brilliant, and came to all my anti natal check ups with me, and has since bought them all up equally.. he really is great!
All 3 of them were unplanned, and my first 2 were concieved while on the pill.. my doctor has always said i must be extremely fertile so thought i'd have no problem having another taht we're actually planning now lol!
We started trying to concieve in august, after we realised I'd had a chemical pregnancy. I was on the pill and knew I'dmissed a couple that month so wasn't too surprised to find I 'felt' pregnant a couple of weeks later, so I did a test and there it was.. my bfp! We didn't really know how to feel at first, coz we'd only been together a short time, so we did a oad of tests to help it sink in a bit and started to get excited! Then a few days later my period arrived... we weren't sure if it was a m/c or the tests were just wrong, but now I know i'd experienced a chemical!
Either way, we were both upset over it, and decided a baby was what we both wanted so off we went to ebay and stocked up on opk's and started trying straight away. 12 days later i gotta positive opk, and 8 days after that, at 7dpo my IC hpt greeted me with the faintest of faint lines, which i took to be an evap. so waited a couple of days and retested and found another what i thought to be evap. then at 11dpo got a nice faint, but visible line, and went and bought a FRER and got a definate bfp! we were over the moon and ran out to tell our families and close friends, coz we couldn't believe it happened so quickly!
I continued testing everyday just so i could watch the lines appear quicker and darker! but got very worried at 14dpo when the lines got fainter and fainter, altho we tried our best to stay positive, we prepared ourselves for the worst, which did indeed happen at 18dpo (4+3wks), woke up to find af.
Its been a very upsetting week for us, but have decided to carry on trying.
now on cd3 and hoping things go better this month!
