Gosh, I barely cried when I was pregnant but have been lately. It's driving me nuts. I'm usually a very strong person who cries when I am really hurt.
I guess part of it is my appearance and I've been down about that. Doesn't help that I haven't been told, "Gees, what a fabulous job you did with our baby", "You look good for just having a baby", etc. Would be nice to be told, "Damn, you're doing great for just having a C-section." Right now, I need compliments on something but not getting anything.
Men can be so selfish at times and all I want is to be told something positive.
Guess it doesn't help because I've not had any great sleeps for months now and I am tired.

Also doesn't help that the 2 1/2 days of cleaning I did went to absolute waste and it seems no one gives a damn. :dohh:

The nicest thing I heard was "Your legs and feet are going down."
And the other day, "Looks like you have a new deep wrinkle line under each eye."
Today he asked me what was wrong with me last night. I told him that I was feeling down about myself.
Hmm, no comment.

Guys can be so insensitive! I'm sure you look amazing. I was a mess emotionally after I had Bella. It took me a full 3 months to feel better.

 Those post-pregnancy hormones are killer, I cried so much the first two weeks. Hope you feel better soon and you do look great for just having had a baby (and no I'm not just saying that) :hugs:

:hugs: I'm sure you look great. Guys don't get the fact that we have carried a living human being in our bodies for 9 months. We are not just going to bounce back from that in a matter of days or weeks. I was an emotional mess the first couple of weeks too. I was just overwhelmed and didn't know how to handle it. I just recently got my gall bladder out and had another procedure that dealt with gall stones. It was very stressful, but we got through it. I still can't work out for another 2 weeks :hissy:.
Anyways, tell your OH how you feel and let him know that you need him to be supportive and not so critical. It's not healthy for you, especially now since you have a baby depending on you. It's not good for you to be stressed out. I know that you are worried about your looks, but just remember, your body has gone through a lot. You'll get back to where you want to be, it will just take time (I'm still trying to burn this into my brain as well). Nine months to put it on, nine months to take it off (as another member has stated on one of my posts). Good luck hun and hope you feel better soon.
