For them to tear your uterus during a c section? :hissy:

When I had my c section with Brooklynn they tore my uterus and didn't say anything to me. I was complaining of major pain that was nowhere near the incision and couldn't figure it out. They just told me to take more meds. The next morning I was sent for a scan of my kidneys and didn't think to ask why... 2 days later found out that when they had stiched up my tear and tummy that they thought they may have stitched a bit that goes between your bladder and kidneys... That was how I found out they tore my uterus!

Now I'm all worried about scar tissue and being able to have another baby. No one has told us how bad the tear was and it seemed that no one really wanted to tell us about it at all.

Is this a common occurance?

Hi sorry to hear of your experience, i would imagine it wouldnt cause any problems considering the doctor told me that scaring from a c section wouldnt effect getting pregnant as long as its given long enough to heal. Its unbelieveable any of us come out in one piece after a c section considering how brutal they are!! x
By the way Brooklyn is the same age as my son George!

I've never heard of this happening, I'd definately be asking my doctor a lot of questions!
