Well let's see. Might as well start with as much info as possible. I met Richie in early April 2006, started a new job in May and didn't think anything of it when I got sick one of my first days there. Missed AF in May, but chalked it up to getting onto co-workers cycles (cause my body always does it when I begin spending more time with new women). June now being two months late I setup an appointment at a free womens clinic/counseling center because I had no money and was waiting for my first check. As I sat there waiting for the results talking to the women I was really expecting her to say :bfn: that I almost jumped out of my seat when she said :bfp:. Nine months later on January 12th Khloe Maureen was born at 6lbs 15oz and 19.5 inches long.
Richie and I were so in love with Khloe, but we were longing for a little boy, since he now had two girls. In May 2007 at four months PP we decided it was time to TTC my second, his third. June AF is late (I had a very regular AF back at exactly 4 weeks PP) just assumed was getting a weird PP cycle. Now 10 days late and a nice day I walked up to the store and picked up a double pack of HPTs, took the first one when I went back to work and nothing not even a control line. For the heck of it I decided maybe not enough pee got on it so later on when I went to the rest room again decided to use the same test, figured either which way I had another and I could always pick up more if AF didn't show. :bfp:, but used the other one later on when I got home just to be sure. Yup first cycle. Cut to gender U/S, not being very helpful little baby with legs closed, tech is about to give up when she begins moving over the same spot. I knew from looking at the screen right away, another girl so girl number three for DF (I made sure to wait for the tech to break the news). At 35 weeks (give or take a day) I think I am contracting (had a slight emergency section with Khloe due to both our heart rates dropping after being induced for high BP) but I didn't really know if it was them of BH's. We count them and dont count any closer than 10 minutes so we wait it out because I have an appointment in the morning. Meet with doctor says all seems to be on schedule and that we are all set for February 15th for a repeat section, and wants me to get a NST done to check my contractions (if that is what they are). Head to L & D to find out I am contracting every 2-3 minutes and get admitted over night to stop PTL in hopes I make it to at least 36 weeks, but wishing for 37. Battle PTL and make it to Valentines Day and head in for pre-op and my now tri-weekly NST. Yup you guessed it contracting pretty close together so doctor says ok lets wait a few hours (I had breakfast figuring I had to stop eating that evening) and you will be having the baby tonight at the latest. Happy Valentines Day and welcome to the world Keira Mackenzie, February 14th 2008, 7lbs 7oz 20 inches.
In July we decided lets go for #3 our last for a little while (if another girl) so we can get some stuff we want done. Problem with this is I am still BFing Keira (woohoo almost 7 months almost EBF!!!) and I have yet to have AF or any bleeding (spotting maybe twice and only visible when I wiped) since PP bleeding ended. We decided that for July we would just go with it and if it happened awesome, if not just keep at it. Few weeks ago decided to order some OPKs and have gotten all - until tonight got a +++++. So we shall see in 2-3 weeks if I get AF, no AF and a :bfn: or no AF and a :bfp:. I at least now know I am O'ing.

Hi there and welcome to BnB

Well, you really have gone for having your children close together haven't you?! That's ideally what I want to do (if only it wasn't taking so long to get pg with number 1!) :dohh:

Did you know that whilst you're breast feeding you are 3 times more likely to conceive twins? :cloud9:

Good luck tonight honey :hugs:

I mentioned that to DF, I believe I read somewhere it 9 times more likely for twins while BFing, and I forget what the odds jump to if you have twins on the maternal side (my gma had twin sisters) so he said that's fine but if we get two more girls he is just going to sign himself into the looney bin now because with all the girls close he does not want to be around during PMS.
We want the kids close, my sister and I are 23 months apart and we just love it. DFs brothers are 30 and 40 so he barely spent time with them or they never wanted to do the same things as him.

Wow, so it's a reall possibility that you could land twins! :happydance:

I would like my children to be as close together as we can get them. My OH and his sister have under 2 years between them whereas me and my brother have a 10 year gap! ALthough we get on really well...I would like my children to have brothers and sisters at the same school, I just think that it would be nice :cloud9:

Well I tested at 8DPO just to see if I a saw a faint line but :bfn: Fiance and I have decided to elope tomorrow so getting a :bfp: this weekend would be an awesome gift. As long as my tests are here I think I might test on Sat. and if still :bfn: then I will wait until Tues. if my POAS addiction stays away. I just hope this is our month because that would be awesome.

Well it has been a while since I updated. We are on cycle # 3 of trying. My AF showed on my wedding and then was late this last month (after either evaps or a chemical pg which I am unsure about). I had planned on my cycles to be irregular due to still BFing our youngest. Currently I believe I am possibly 3DPO (hard to tell, but judging by temps and symptoms I O'ed on CD10) hopefully that is the case or I could O as late as the end of this week and get AF as late as 11/05. Wish us luck for a BFP, not that we are in any big rush, but I hate the anticipation of every month hoping to see those two lines.

Ugggh life loves to toss you some wacky blows. My DH was on disability due to a back injury suffered at work and they decided to cancel it on us. We now have no income and are no longer actively trying, but still not preventing.... always seems that you get pg at the worst time possible, so maybe that will happen now. I am in the middle of enrolling into school online for Web Design in a 2 year program, looking into housing provided by our state and hoping once we move I can get my business of all kinds of stuff up and running. I make hair bows, scrapbook keepsakes (digital and paper), digital kits, templates and other stuff and pre-made purchaseware websets so hopefully once we move I can get all my stuff setup and be ready to roll.
