..down there... I really am!!
I grazed so I didnt have any stitches but it still can really really sting when I wee!! So much so I let out a gasp or a little whimper!!
To top that off Ive got really bad thrush.... well I hope its thrush and not some other infection!! But today round town it actually felt like Id been kicked there... :(
Boots wouldnt sell me thrush stuff cos I had baby and they asked me about bf-ing... insaurance purposes they cant sell.... lol so I went to superdrug and gave baby to my friend!! I couldnt wait... !!
It seems to have got better... as I took the pill... but can I apply the cream to even though Im still bleeding!!
Its so uncomfortable!

Have you tried leaning really far forward when you go for a wee, I had to have an episiotomy and i found this really helped. I also made sure I drank loads of water to dilute my wee tmi lol. I also tried pouring water over at the same time as weeing. Sorry I cant be of anymore help

i had an episiotomy too which healed within 2 wks. I used to have a salt bath twice a day and dab witch hazel along my stitches with gauze after my bath. (you can buy bottles of distilled witch hazel from boots) Also pouring warm water when your weeing really helps stop the stinging

Have you been using a water bottle when you pee? Fill one with warm water and use it while you are using the bathroom, it really does help with the pain.

when you have a bath put some tea tree oil in, you'll be healed in no time. my stitches had healed within a couple of weeks.
I tore with my first and it was the worst pain ever.:hugs:

Weein in the shower does help, my midwife told me to put the shower head on my bits TMI sorry and it did take the edge off.
Cranberry juice as well as this neutralises ur wee and makes it bit more bareable.

thanks hayley... i will tell the health visitor or mw .. whoever I see next!!
As I did have plus 4 protein in my urine and they didnt give me anything to treat it!! As I said.. I think I have thrush too.. so i took the oral pill and it seems to have calmed down but it still feels very sore down there!

I had a graze when i had my son so i know how you feel. I used an anteseptic in the bath (think it was savlon) and my midwife said to use canestan (sp!) cream just to ease the soreness. I used it for a few days and it was great, felt better in no time.

As the others say hun, pour water over your bits as you pee and pee in the bath or shower. Glad leaning forward has helped you too. I put Lavender oil in my bath daily to help healing. Talk to your HV or MW about your thrush too but hope the pill and cream works x
