take so much pain medication today. I did good so far today but I cannot handle it much longer. :(
I woke up this morning feeling hardly any pain but now is a different story.

:hugs: Know how you feel hun.
Take what you're allowed to take though. Don't just 'cope'. The pain is unbearable at times, i spent much of my first two weeks in tears but i learned to take as much as i could until i was healled enough
xx :hugs:

 you need to take care of yourself, which may mean occassional meds

The only way to manage is to regularly take the medication so will do so until I feel better. I have to manage back to school in a few days too.
I keep forgetting that I got my tubes tied as well. Wonder if that has added to some of the pain.
All in all though, the last two C-sections were nothing like the emergency one I had with my daughter. The pain is more manageable but with her, I couldn't do anything for weeks.

Now then, TAKE THAT PAIN MEDICATION. I have had 4 sections and vwith the last took it regularly and never let discomfort get too much. I tried to manage on less analgesia with number 3 section and wish i hadn't. This time community midwife kept on about regular anagesia and lots of rest ( hard with 3 other children!) and she was right. No medals given out for not taking it as she said.Congratulations on your new arrival.:hugs:

hope you feel better soon.
i had forceps delivery and could barely sit down afterwards. going to the loo was hell. i am only feeling normalish normal (four weeks later) now.
take care of yourself.

It's definitely become more manageable now without taking as much medication. The evenings is where it starts to bother me more but it probably has to do with what I am doing in the day like laundry, etc.
By the end of the week, I would assume I will almost be at 100% :)
I have also been able to manage to sleep laying flat for a few nights (or a few hours anyhow inbetween Chase waking up - LOL), something I was afraid to do since the operation.
Hard to believe that exactly one week today I was in the OR room :)

Not doing too badly. Took my daughter to school and obviously got bombarded with "Where's the baby?" from the mothers that knew I was pregnant.
This afternoon I am going to buy Chase a baby bathtub instead of that seat you put in the tub.

Im thinking i was very lucky! maybe where tabs was in special care and i wanted to see her a few times a day (long corridors then a lift then another long corridor) made me heal quicker? maybe pumped up on the fear and worry adrenaline? also needed to do scholl runs for the boys once i was out after 12 days in with tabs.
for 3 days i was on voltarol then just went to paracetamol but they kept on offering me liquid morphine which i didnt feel i needed.
I was building furniture on day 14 lol
You know your capabilities leanne just dont take risks though :hugs:
