hi alanna is 14 weeks old too and i noticed the hair lose last week, it coming out in clumps when i wash it and my baby is covered in my hair all the time, i asked the midwife yesterday and she says its fine, normal and not to worry about it.

OMG, Keira is 13 weeks old and Ive been shedding like a mad dog! Its everywhere! On the bed, in the shower drain and she's certainly not adding to it by janking my hair out everytime I pick her up!

Wow, I guess it is just that time, I have noticed mine doing the same thing. While pregnant, hair does not fall out very much, so now that we are losing those wonderful hormones, our hair is making up for lost time.

Same for me! I'm losing loads of hair atm but I'm happy because I use to have really thick hair and hated it! Now it's much thinner, love it !

Some hair loss is very normal... has to do with hormonal changes.
Clumps of hair however is a sign of hyperthyroidism. Get to your doc to have a T4, TSH or similar thyroid test done. I should add, thyroid issues are VERY common after pregnancy.
