Hey Bird - hope you are well! :happydance:
Right, DH had his done and got the results last week and this is what the doc told him...............
'Normal' was defined as between 20-99 million and 'average' was classed as 60 million. So by those calculations anything under 20 million is classed as low?? Having said that, 1000mg of vit c, selenium and B12, Zinc taken once a day has been proven to increase sperm count and i read tha in 1 test taking the 1000mg of vit C doubled the count.
Did you OH get his results?
..... if you are stressing hun, my DH only has 1.5million BUT the doc sounded very positive and i've read good things on the web so i'm being a super positive person! There is nothing they can't do (with a turkey baster and a petrie dish):rofl:

 glad you are being very positive - its better to know and try and raise the count than not know
DH results came back at:
Sperm count 54
Mobility 80
Sperm morphology - still waiting on result
so its in the average mark then
did you OH make the sperm donation at home? did he have to keep it warm and get it there in a certain amount of time?
Thanks xxx

Well sperm count looks good and so does motility so at least they know where they are supposed to swim!
DH got very low on count but okay for morphology and motility!
Yep, he did a donation (nice!) at home in the smallest jar i have ever seen!! soooo very glad i wasn't present!
He managed to do the deed at about 9am and had it to the hospital in under 30 mins. Very impressed with his speed
Re-test on 15th September. Worth being aware that 98 out of 100 men who give a SA will get a 'normal' or 'improved' result on their second test!
Bring on the olympic swimmers i say - you gotta be positive else you would go mad

yep exactly!!! being positive is def the best way to be...i need to take a leaf out of your book
Gotta have blood tests myself now to see whatelse could be the problem
Hopefully he'll get a better result next time...
I was present....it was actually quite funny i felt sorry for him trying to get it in that small pot - poor bloke xxx

I think the values Rachelle gave you are spot on Bird.
Many experts say that morphology is not awfully important, much less so with your normal-to-high count so you have little to worry about! :)

Thanks MissAma
So we should be able to :sex: as much as we want without worrying we may be doing it too much!!!

Bird you will be awesome i am sure of it! We had some serious wobbles with his results, especially with 1.5 million. He was taking propecia for his thinning hair and we only found out last week it causes deformities in male babies - so now we have to stop TTC until end of November so that it's flushed out of his system!
In the meantime i think we are closer, having better :sex: when we actually want it! and having more cuddles!
Yours is looking good hun, hope your results were okay too x
