Jac and the beans' magical journey

Well I thought I would pluck up the courage and start my journal today as things are looking good at the moment after my bloods yesterday:happydance:

I am 5 weeks today and It seems like forever since I found out I am pg..(3w 4 d) so just over a week really!

I told myself I wasnt going to get exited this time around, just to be cautious...but hey thats easier said than done!

My symptoms so far are really bad achey boobs which are covered in big blue veins! Tiredness and peeing more frequently.

I thinbk my sinuses are still playing up too, as I started with a stuffy/runny nose before I got my bfp and its stayed with me since!
I also still dont feel very well, waking up with a headache and feeling shivery at times:dohh:

My blood results:

13 dpo (21st aug) 81
15 dpo (23rd aug) 254
17 dpo (25th aug) 558

7 week early scan booked for 10th september 08 @ 9:30 am which is also my 31st Birthday!

good luck for your scan im sure it will all be fine. my symptoms were EXACTLY the same as yours at 5 weeks, my boobs look (and still look) like a roadmap (motorways only, a road - stretchmarks stay away please!!!)

i had a scan at 6+5 (2 days before my birthday) best present ever!

That sounds like just enough symptoms to be reassuring that you have symptoms without having to throw up every two minutes or anything x

It seems to want to stick around for the ride at the moment Elm and is playing up my sinuses!:hissy:
OMG my boobs are soooooo sore! They hurt when I walk, when I talk when I do bloody anything! Like rock hard hot boulders!:rofl:
Im also feeling really hungry and wanting chocolate and crisps but I dont wanna eat too much or I'll be the size of a house at 12 weeks this rate.

I might see how this bug thing goes and go see doc if ive still got it next week, I get up in the morning feeling all stuffy and with like a stressed sort of headache, you know like just above one eye and can feel a bit sickly too. My throat still feels a bit dry too.:cry:

Apart from all this and on constant knicker watch Im doing great!

Looking forward to my holiday in just over 4 weeks:happydance: but Im betting my m/s kicks in just before I go and will be stuck on a plane throwing up...oh I hope not!

Hi everyone, Ive not been on much at all today as I have been feeling really crappy!

Ive been in my bed most of the day as ive not had any energy to do anything else.

I have a bad sinus problem I think, as I have 'Face Ache' :rofl: No, I mean it, my teeth, cheeks, ears, head, eyes and nose are 'aching' and I have like tingling all over my skin and generally feel like poo again:cry:
Paracetamol doesnt touch it and when I go to bed i cant get comfortable cos im so achey so not sleeping too well either:hissy:

I'll have to try and get through the weekend and go to docs mon if I dont feel any better although I dunno what he can give me......I keep thinking Ive contracted some awful illness and its gunna harm my bubs!

Ive googled (ahh the dreaded google) and it seems sinus problems are common and its down to my imune system being down cos its looking after baby, I dont mind that at all.......just hope I dont feel this bad for too long tho.

Newbie- Im off to Tossa de mar on the costa brava in spain in 4 wks on monday..cant wait!:happydance:

I still felt really shit up until I chpped onions for tea and they made me cry and my nose run like mad......hey presto! The awful pressure on the bridge of my nose/cheek/eye/teeth has gone!!:happydance::happydance:

Sjanms has just worked out that I am actually 1 day more preggo than I thought! ha ha..something to do with late ovulations...we shall see scan time!

Well I am feeling much better these days, other than feeling like a big fat pig and having no clothes to fit me.

Boobs are still sore (and growing) but not as bad, a little tired somedays, a bit of constipation but no m/s as yet:happydance:

Ive stopped poas stick now, I dont think they could get any darker.LOL.

im so excited about my scan next week, it seems forever away though!

Cant wait to catch up on some sleep from wed on as the kids are back in school!:happydance: Lily starts full time school on wed and it feels like my baby has all grown up! She looks so sweet in her little uniform:cloud9::cry:

Hey girls, well what an eventful night I had!

At 11 pm last night I went to the loo and when I wiped there was 2 very small 'spots' of watery blood:cry: Naturally, I panicked. After chatting to OH I decided I'd rather go to a&e rather than wait and see what happens, as I dont think I would have slept anyways!

My best friend came with me to the hospital. Each time I went to the loo I was scrutinising the loo paper but didnt see anymore.

We waitied in a&e for an hour before we were seen and they took a wee sample and my blood pressure, and waited nearly 2 hours for a doc to come along to be told by her 'to go home, take it easy and just come for scan next week as arranged' Obviously I was told if I had any heavy bleeding/pain to go back.

My friend sort of gently bullied her into doing another hcg check just to put my mind at a little ease and she agreed but we had to wait another hour for the results, which were 10'022.......:happydance: which is more than double what my other levels were going up at!

Im so bloody tired today..having 2 hours kip this morning wasnt probably the best thing for me.
Ive done absolutely nothing allday on the order of the doc I saw last night, ive slept on and off but am still sooo tired.

Im finding it hard now not telling people, my OH's mum phoned earlier to ask me if I could kindly update their website before this weekend and I felt like saying' sod off, I am shattered and was in the hospital all night!' but obviously I couldnt:cry:

My eldest Ryan overheard ant telling lily not to jump on mummys belly and he wanted to know why! Also I asked him to vaccuum the living room and he looked at me like I had 3 heads......he knows something is going on, funny enough with the size of my belly none of them have noticed...:rofl:

so glad everything was ok at the hospital hun. are you feeling better today?
my daughter fell backwards onto my tummy last night - it totally freaked me out and i shouted at her. :blush: i felt awful afterwards but ds said "no baby - my mummy got a baby in there" she seems to understand him more than me!!! she gave me a cuddle too so i guess i was forgiven!!

I managed to get dressed today and go do some food shopping:happydance: OH will be happy its not a takeaway again!!!

My bloat seems to have gone down again today and I can fit in my jeans again...:happydance: so maybe I CAN hide it a little longer!

Ive been looking at having some liposuction on my belly and hips after bubs is born...its something ive thought about for a few years now but never actually did anything about it. So Ive opened a savings account and am going to save some money in there to give me a head start.
Of course I will wait 6-12 months after the birth and exercise to lose the weight, but ive had a problem with excess fat around my middle since Lils birth, Ive never managed to shift it!

If Im brave enough that is!!

Glad you are feeling better. What a scare you must of had. I can only imagine how tired you are physically and emotionally.

Take care of yourself, and good luck keeping it from the kids much longer. When do you plan on telling them, once you are done the first tri?

It usually takes me about a year to shift the baby flab (going off last 3 kids) but after my last I lost it after 6/7 months, it stayed off and then I stopped going to the gym about 2 years ago and have had a bit of a spare tyre around my waist since and ive not managed to shift it!:hissy:

It depends on how stubborn it is this time, but I really do think as you get older its harder to shift the weight and I'll be 31 in 4 days......

Im currently trying to find a pilates class near me and when I turn 12 weeks im going to go to the classes, to make myself feel better more than anything!

But yeah, if I cant shift the weight then I will deffo think about it more seriously! cant be as bad as havng your boobs done!

Jac, you are brave all this talk of surgery, i am such a wuse (sp?). Glad you've got a preggo buddie! Hope the spotting is ok but your HCG levels are great! Take care! xx

Looks like ur doin well tho, bet u can't wait for ur scan.

Pilates is great hun, I've been going to a class since xmas and it's the only thing that has ever flattened my flabby belly, and I do all types of exercise! I've done it all the way through pg and it's been great, even bought the lindsay jackson pg in pilates dvd to do in the house. I would def recommend it.

Did you have a good weekend? wow - you are brave having lipo? i was thinking if i had another section i could ask the surgeon to do a little tummy tuck whilst he was there!! :rofl: what do you think? i am dreading the whole losing the weight thing - it takes forever doesn't it - but well worth it!! :hug:

Well I think the m/s is starting to kick in with me....:cry: Yesterday I got up and felt a bit sicky but ate my breakfast and felt better. Today I gets up and starts wretching, even running to the loo on one occassion cos I really thought I was going to!:rofl:

Im finding if I eat something when I feel sick, I feel better...which is great but im permanently in the fridge! So far today Ive had 2 peices of toast with marmalade for breakfast, then I had a whole tin of chunky steak and potatoe soup, then 2 peices of quiche and 2 apples...now Im thinking about my tea already! mmmmmmmmm.......

My belly looks pregnant again today, actually I think it has done all the while but Ive gotten used to it. My friend came to see me today and I havnt seen her for 3 days and she was like 'I thought you said your belly had gone down' and I was like 'it has' she laughed at me and said' your drreaming!' so im still a fat bloater!!!:cry:

2 days to go................................well, one really if you dont count the rest of today!!!:happydance:

Everyone thinks Chicken is a boy (and Chicken's a girls name!!!), I think he is too though!!!

You're just making sure that there's room for bean to grow in so that s/he will be nice and comfortable in there :). I was like that with food too - if I didn't keep eating I felt really, really sick - was thinking I'd lose weight with morning sickness not put it on.... I'm sure it'll go away soon.

Me and Oh saw little Jackson for the first time and a lovely beating little heart:cloud9: I swear it was the happiest moment of my life (nxt to having my kids) I couldnt help but cry!:cry:
Ive been walking around with a permanent grin on my face all day and ants been sending me little texts all day, I think he's finally letting himself beleive that this time we are getting our little cherub:happydance:

Went for a spot of retail therapy afterwards and bought some nice dresses to hide my fat belly, and couldnt help a mooch in mothercare to look at the prams!!

Ive already decided I want a quinny Buzz!!! So smart and practical..only prob is It costs over £700 for everything!!!! :dohh:

Better get saving now me thinks.

Ive had the best ever birthday today, better than I could ever have dreamt, complete with 4 pairs of jim jams so far:rofl: Im sure theres more to come too!!

Having a chinese for tea with the inlaws tonight and are going to tell them our news once kids are in bed!!!!:happydance:

Ive just eaten a tomato puree sandwhich......WTF?? But it was sooo yummy. Im sure I craved these with one of my others, cant remeber which tho:dohh:

Ive been craving ham & cheese salad baps for the past couple of days but not managed to have one yet, my mates coming up after dinner and is bringing me one!:happydance: I cant waitt!!!!

Ive also taken to having a sugar in my tea.....ive not had sugar in tea for years, but all of a sudden it tastes nice!

Ive also got a bad dislike of anyones deodarant/body spray/perfume..OMG it makes me gag! OH and my 12 year old both fill the house with lynx deodarant in the mornings and it knocks me sick!

I was stood at school this morning and this lady came over to chat and she reaked of perfume, I had to move away from her, she prolly thinks Im a right unsociable cow!

We told ants mum & dad last night and they were made up for us! We also told the kids.....we didnt mean to, my 9 yr old d/d said to me 'mum are you pregnant?' that was it, the other two were on it and were asking me to swear on their lives that i wasnt!!! What could I say...I told them to ask Ant!!! :rofl: He had to confirm it, obviously...so the news is out........

ah we have told our lo's (we did ages ago because oh can't hold his own farts in never mind a secret!) and ds keeps looking up my top saying "baby in there mummy??" he is very confused! i think he thinks there is an actual fully grown baby under my top! when there is nothing there he says "baby gone mummy" and starts looking round the house for it!!!! :rofl:

Well Its a week tomorrow till my holibops!:happydance: I must admit, I looking forward to it but Im anxious too, I'm hoping I feel better than I have done this past week!

I feel sick constantly through the day, but it doesnt stop me eating, infact eating eases it for a while. It doesnt help that Im constipated too:blush: I gotta sort my bowels before next monday!!

The wedding went great, but I look like a right porker in the pics:cry: everyone noticed my belly too so my secret is now out. Everyone was so happy for me, especially my dad as he was gutted for me when I m/c'd last time (he only knows about 1) so he shed a tear when I told him!:cloud9:

My skin has gone horrible too! Its like bloody sandpaper and I keep getting huge spots:hissy: my makeup looks crap when I do it! My hair is lank and wont do anything!!!!! Oh the joys!........still wouldnt change a thing though!:cloud9:

Had my m/w app today girls......7W 4D..

What a complete plonker I felt !

Firstly I gets to my app and this man, yes MAN walked out and introduced himself as the community midwife..well I nearly fell off the chair and he thought my reaction was hilarious. He turned out to be a scouser and was infact really nice!!!
Hes apparently filling in for my normal midwife, Rosie, who is a woman.. (i asked:rofl:)
So we went through the paperwork and was asking me about my scan and what it said my edd was and I proudly announced 'the 31st April' he looked at me like I had 2 heads and then said 'april doesnt have 31 days!!:rofl:' Oh I felt sooooo stoopid, so I declared 'stupid sonographer told me 31st april! and we both laughed, the thing is It wasnt the sonographer it was me that camr eto that conclusion as at my scan he said I was due the end of April.......so go figure...:rofl: I didnt realise there was nt a 31st did I.....

So anyway my due date is 29th April!!! :blush:

Well girls, 8w 1d...going well!:happydance:

Im absolutely shattered and walk around like a zombie most of the time, I gag at everything I smell and Im fat!:hissy: Wouldnt have it any other way though.

I seem to have sorted the constipation out for the time being, I forced myself to drink fybogel for 3 days running and am now super duper down there again:blush:

Ive also started to take actimel in the morning to try and sort out some of this bloating, so hopefully I wont feel so fat, for a short while anyway!

Im soooo looking forward to my hols next week, I just hope I can cope with sun/kids/loopy friend and enjoy it.

Oh is fretting a bit now as hes worried about me going away without him and being pg, I'm sure I will be fine though..nice of him to fuss though.

My little Lilys birthday is on tuesday (the day after we go) and everybody is a bit gutted they wont see her on her birthday so we have officially moved her birthday to sunday 21st sep this year, lol, so we are going to have a party in the house for her!:happydance: Just hope I dont need a sleep half way through:rofl:

Well the scan was fab!!!

Bean was fast asleep curled up with his legs/arms curled up underneath him, lol!

The ob tried to wake him but he was having none of it! Lazy bugger!

My new doppler arrived this morning too! I only bought it at 4 o clock yesterday and it was here at 8.20 am this morning!

It took me 2 goes to find his heartbeat and I managed it whilst my best mate was here and she got to hear it!:cloud9:

I tried for an hour later on then 30 mins but couldnt locate it until tonight, ant actually heard it for the first time!:happydance:

I managed to get it on video on my phone too!!!

aww i get tearful even now, its just amazing isnt it? to be able to make a life. we all did a bit of bonking and now we have a new life growing in our bellys, a whole new person when its born it will be its own unique being and have its own identity, its just crazy, i always used to moan that men have it easy with no periods, peeing standing up, no uncontrollable PMS, worrying about weight, fashion, etc etc... but what is more amazing than being capable of making a baby!! i'll take all of the above to do this!!

11 weeks and 1 day today:happydance: Only 6 more days until I reach that magic 12:happydance:

I had my first antenatal yesterday with my midwife Rosie, shes lovely! A total nutcase but so easy to get on with. Im glad.
She took all my particulars and did my bloods etc, was there for about an hour. I actually really enjoyed it!

Then me and my best mate went shopping for clothes...my fave hobby! I managed to get some nice cardigans and some skinny jeans from Dorothy Perkins, and some bras.

I got measured in mothercare and she put me at a 38 dd....which is weird cos I am a 36 F usually..have my boobs shrunk?:rofl: I didnt think that was possible with implants!!!! Anyways the 2 pack bras I got in this size dont fit at all so they have to go back:dohh: The prettier ones do so at least I have 2 bras now.

Im feeling better these days....tiredness is not quite as extreme and my nauseus feelings are less frequent. I still need to have a nap in the day most days but usually 1/2 an hour is sufficient.

6 weeks 3 days until my gender scan!!!:happydance:

I soooooo cannot wait!! Im going to the piccies with my bessie mate on friday to celebrate!

I'm just loving my doppler at the moment, it is soooooo cool! I try not to use it everyday so I stick to every other for 5 mins...Its getting pretty easy to find bubbs hb now. His heartrate is now at 163 bpm average. Its a beautiful sound! Only thing is I'm going to need a stash of batteries at this rate!:rofl:

My nausea is slowly subsiding and Im happy to report that up to now I havn't been sick once! Still quite tired but not as much as I was either.

Ive noticed some changes over the past couple of days, for one my boobs have started to ache again, I seem to have had an outbreak in spots on my face and chest and im itching! I dont seem to be able to get comfy in bed anymore either. I dont think its down to my belly though, just my back has started aching.:dohh:

Shining, I just seem to have really good luck with it..I can usually find it within a minute or so now:happydance: Its getting louder and much easier to find the more time goes by.

You are farther on then me so Im not sure where you would position your probe but I lay down on my back and prop up my head and upper back with pillows, squirt a tidy amount of gel on and then just place the probe on my tummy, slowly tilting it every angle then sliding it across my tummy and again tilting it. Sometimes I pick it up for a second as I go past and then I can usually just go back and find it.

Wishing, at first I could only find the hb low down like at the top of my pubic bone but he seems to have moved up now. Try maybe an inch or two above your bikini line and I almost always find it more to the side, not right in the middle. He seems to change sides quite alot! I dont tend to have to put an awful lot of pressure on the probe anymore and dont get sore lol! I just sort of rest the tip on my tummy and then apply only a tiny but of pressure. Tyr placing the probe where I told you and then just tilt it all directions slowly and listen......if nothing, glide it across a tiny bit and repeat. Good Luck hun:hugs:

After discussing the possibility of me having another large baby and arranging growth scans for 32 and 36 weeks he proceeded to tell me that he thinks it would be like 'shelling peas' for me to give birth to an avarage sized baby:blush: so I asked him if he knew what it was like to give birth, to which he replied 'apparently its like shitting a pumpkin!' :rofl::rofl::rofl:

How likely is it that I could be feeling my baby moving at this stage?
Im sure I have felt him a couple of times like a kind of bubbling feeling low down..now Im aware it could be wind, but it sorta feels different!
I was sat with my legs up on the pc chair last night, with my knees up by my chest and I felt quite a sharp movement low down slightly to the right, im wondering if that was baby telling me i was squashing him!

I think it is possible you know to feel movement so early, not just when it's your second third etc child but like you if your particulalry in tune with the baby. I thought I did, and everyones quick to say no no got to be wind, but why on earth wldn't you feel them? I know there small but if they came to front or went towards cervix, surely you'd feel some kind of ripple effect.

I agree shining, and I think baby is quite near the front at times because I can easily find his hb and its loud and clear. Ive not felt those movements for a couple of days now but I have had windy feelings which I know is wind......the bubbles feel different!

Well I had movement from about 11 weeks girls and this is my 1st pg, I've read about it (because I was a bit sceptical) and apparently it is possible!! It wasn't all the time but on the day of my 12 week scan, LO didn't stop wriggling - it was very faint flutters/bubbles - like you say - must've known it was gonna have its pic taken lol!!..

I'm now nearly 20 weeks and the feeling is the same but stronger so I know it was definatley LO! And not wind hehe!!

i'm like you hun. SAturday morning i was getting bubbles on my left hand side. When i was looking for heartbeat i suddenly thought - i wonder if that really is LO and not wind - and sure enough heart beat was on left hand side! whilst i had probe on it i felt it stronger too - as if baby was telling me to stop waving probes about in her face!!! :rofl:

well 13 weeks and 6 days....just under 4 hours till Im officially 14 weeks!:happydance:

I'm so chuffed, Ive been feeling bubby moving loads today!!! This evening especially for a couple of hours! I can feel the funny bubbley, fizzy sensations just above my pubic bone, put the doppler on and babys there so its deffo him:happydance: Gosh, hes been at it for at least 2 hours now! Must be tired soon lol!

Glad to say the sicky feelings are trailing off and the tiredness is only there somedays, so I can actually go a day without needing a sleep in the afternoon!

My boobs seem to be growing at an alrming rate, together with my belly! Im not going to post another pic now until 15 weeks so I can see a bigger difference.

Ohh I can still feel bubbs 'fizzing!' :rofl:

Time seems to be flying by now! 12 weeks was over 2 weeks ago...woohooo! Hope the rest flies by too.

So I think the nauseus feeling has subsided, unless I get one of my headaches that occur just above one eye...they make me feel a bit sicky! I seem to be having either really good days where im up, about and maybe go out shopping etc and feel really good or Im having a 'tired and be in and out of bed all day day' theres no happy medium at the moment!

Im having trouble getting comfy in bed now, I dont think its my bump as such, just my whole body feels weird and doesnt seem comfy so Ive ordered one of those HUGE V-shaped pillows from ebay that are about 10 feet long, I cant wait for it to arrive!

I also bought myself a gorgeous militart style mat jacket from Topshop which I am loving! Its so warm and looks really stylish too! I also bought the most gorgeous pair of seude over the knee flat boots from Office the other day....£125!!! But well worth it, I adore them! Will have to get a pic up of me wearing them and my coat for you all to see!

I dont think Im gunna stop growing girls...I think Im just gunna keep going until I explode!!! I never showed this much, this early with any of the others and I was a regular at the gym up until 6 months before this pg...wtf?? Am I having a sumo do you think???:rofl:

Oh cravings..Im absolutely loving chilli con carne and jacket potato! I have one virtually every day...has to be stag chilli though or one from our local market seller! I also like salt and vinegar crisp sandwiches and crusty bread and butter..oh and fresh fruit! pineapple, melon and strawberries yum yum!

Still finding bubbs hb on my doppler very easily now and most of the time I can get it to boom loudly, nearly blowing the speaker..its amazing to hear! His heartbeat seems to have come bown now to around 150 from 170 at nearly 10 weeks......:cloud9:
I cant tell you how much I am looking forward to my sexing scan on 23rd Nov! Im willing the time to go by quick! I had my app through last week for my 20 week scan and this is only 2 weeks after my private one, I did think about cancelling the private one but they are more precise at sexing and then the 20 week one they can juust confirm for me!

well thats my essay for the next few days..over and out!

I cannot beleive I am here! 16 weeks OMG! It feels almost unreal.
Well, theres not really too much been going on over the last couple of weeks...im wondering when this 'bloming' stage will start. Mind you, I dont remember it in any of my other pregnancies.
My face is full of spots and my hair is dry! I dont mind though...bubbs is well worth looking like crap for:cloud9:
I think I am feeling him move, but still cant be 100% sure its not wind, but saying that it sometimes feels different from wind, like something rumaging round down there. I also get vibration like feelings that I can feel more sort of right underneath, you know:blush: weird!
I also cant stop calling the baby 'him' it just flows outa my mouth naturally! I would really like a little boy so maybe its to do with this, but a little princess would also be awsome:cloud9::cloud9:

OH and me have been discussing names tonoght for the umpteenth time and I cannot get him to give me one boys name he likes apart from 'Archie' and I'm not overly struck:dohh: We both like Jack but our last name is Jackson and I'm not getting a good vibe about Jack Jackson. I like the name Cole but hes being a right fuss fart!:rofl: We both like Lola for a girl and even Lily has kept us to that name for a girl although she thinks its a boy too, but wants a girl..Im confuzzling myself now!

My best mate who knows everything..lol, I swear shes physcic! She was adamant I was having a girl with my last dd but i swore it was a boy...she was right, she says this one is a boy! I would love a little dude if Im honest:cloud9: cant wait to kit him out in little nike's!:cloud9: Another princess would be just as good though, ugg do beautiful little pram booties! :rofl:

Eoghan, Owen but spelled the irish way....Im not fussed on the spelling, but he doesnt like the spelling OWEN.
Oliver.........but Im thinking its too common, although I do like the idea of shortening to Ollie.

There is an alternative Irish spelling for Owen which is Eoin. That would be my chosen spelling.

We went to my mums for tea last night and were supposed to be going for a kebab but when we got to my mums I suddenly had an over whelming urge for bombay potatoes...:rofl: I just had to have them! So my step dad went off to get the kebabs and me and my mum went to the indian for my bombay potatoes:happydance: I must say, I was NOT impressed as the sauce was so yummy but the bloody potatoes werent cooked properly! I couldnt be bothered going back cos we waited like 30 mins to cook that one!:hissy: Im going to order it tonight for my tea from the nice indian up here...mmmmmmmmmm
Another of my cravings seems to be Limes, I love them! Not got any in now as tesco closed so I will have to wait until tomorrow:dohh: Gutted.

17 weeks today!

4 days till my gender scan! Its coming around so quick! I am so excited about knowing the sex but at the same time feel like Im ruining the surprise by finding out, does that make sense? A tiny bit of me doesnt want to know but thats only because im really enjoying the not knowing.......:dohh: Does that sound weird? I will find out tho, I cant not!
Im feeling bubbs wriggling alot over the last 2 days, no mistaking him for wind now!
My skin is clearing up nicely and my hair is looking better!:happydance: Im going for a cut and colour today so will get a 17 week pic up with a face pic of my hair!!

Hi Guys.....yes my scan went amazingly and bump turned out to be a little boy!!! Just what I wanted too! :cloud9: To say Im over the moon is an understatement I still feel like the cat that got the cream!:headspin:

I gotta say the girls at babybond liverpool were absolutely fantastic. You really are made to feel so special! The scan wasnt rushed and they were so thorough!

We watched our gorgeous little Leo posing for around 15 minutes. It was if he really knew he was being watched! He didnt stay still at all! Totally amazing!

We came home with lots of pics and a 10 min dvd which Im sure is going to be watched loads between now and his arrival!:cloud9:

18 WEEKS 5 DAYS

Im feeling really good these days, apart frommthe occasional headache and bout of heaving, I am really enjoying this pregnancy!
I went on a girls night out last night with my auntie, some mates, my mum and nanna. LOL, It was a stripper show and we all went fancy dress!!:rofl: What a giggle and OMG the coloured stripper had the biggest 'thing' I have ever seen!! Even my nanna commented on the size of it!:rofl:
I only lasted until 10:30 and ant came to collect me..everyone was merrily getting sozzled and heres me on blackcurrant and water!

Other than feeling huge I must say Im feeling really good these days. Getting the odd bout of bad back and occasional tiredness but nothing to moan too much about as yet.

Leo's having a bit of a rummage around in there occasionally and the odd kick here and there but not as much as I thought I would be feeling! I lie on the sofa at night and watch my belly for ages in the hope I will see it move or ripple or anything! No such luck as yet:hissy:

Looking forward to my 20 week scan next wed just to see little Leo again:cloud9:

Wow thats a bump but isn't it wonderful. I can't wait till i see my bump move around this time too. I didn't think about it last time but I don't think we took a video of it moving, especially towards the end when you can really see things sticking out so if you don't have video of your others, get some this time too!!!

I think Leo is giving Amir Khan a run for his money these days!! The past few days I have noticed a BIG difference in his movements. They have come farther up now and sometimes I can feel them right in line with my belly button. On Friday night I was watching my belly as he was having a good kick and there it was!!!!!!!!! A kick that came right outa my belly just under my belly button, twice!:happydance::cloud9:
I was sooo chuffed!

Hes been a little wriggler ever since, I can feel him throughout the day now which is so cool.
Yesterday I had what I think is the start of my SPD coming:cry: but I did give oh a hand to carry a table top into the garage so I think carrying that weight didnt help. Im banned from carrying anything now, I really dont want it to come so soon if at all.

Ive started buying a few bits and bobs and cleared out the pine chest in our room ready for Leo's things.

Well, bumps geting big and Leos getting bigger lol! Im feeling not too bad these days, no more heaving or m/s but the back pain and spd are starting to kick in now:cry: Im just trying to take things easy! Which is quite difficult with 3 children, 2 dogs and a 4 bed house to keep tidy:hissy:
Ants been great though, I was in hospital last sunday night due to a kidney infection which at first they thought I was heading for prem labour. Thankgod It wasnt and a couple of days of tlc in hossy I was right as rain..:happydance:

Well we have started buying things for the baby now, its starting to scare me at how quick the time is going!
