Must be an evap?!

Holy hell what a day!! So I came come from work today all excited cos my cheapie tests had arrived. In anticipation of this I kept my FMU in a jar :blush: and quickly tested as soon as I came home. Got so excited with the result.... faint positive I thought, the line looks pink!

So I hopped in the car drove to Tescos and bought a clear blue test....and rushed home tested again on my FMU what I got a big fat :bfn: :cry:
I was so sure i'd get my :bfp:

So all I can say is..... "so that's what an evap line looks like!"

Im on CD 37 today so I reckon I just keep waiting for :witch: to arrive ...... though maybe I'll test again over the weekend if there is still no sign. Bah humbug!

evap lines dont have colour tho and those lines defo look pink to me!!!!!!

Aren't the cheapies supposed to be more sensitive that named brands. I would recomend Superdrug's own make, the early ones. I got a whopping :bfp: on those ones with afternoon pee at 11 dpo

wait a few days an do another clear blue coz i dont think they r all tht sensitive not sure tho if those lines came up within time limit then i would say not an evap good luck hun keep us updated

Test again in a few days as I can see colour in that and when I first saw my BFP on an internet cheapie it was so much fainter than yours!
I did another test on a first response and got a second line then a few days after did a CB digi and got a pregnant.

I dont think its an evap, ooooo exciting!!

I tested with an ebay cheapie one and had the exact same line fainteness you did!!!:bfp:?! I was so excited I drove out to the store and bought the best of the best brand name test!:bfn:... I was moaning to my husband all night how dare they sell tests like that with pink evap lines to get your hopes up!!lol
Tested again the next day the line was a little darker! took 4 more days to show up on the most sensitive STORE BOUGHT test!

Anyway long story short i went to the gp who confirmed with a blood test i was pregnant!!!so i absolutley love the ebay cheapies and would never ever buy any others again!!!

Oh Im a bit more hoeful now, I figured once the clearblue said no then game over!
That line showed within 1 minute, so does that mean its not an eva ....ok the letter after o and before q is not working on my machine this morning!!! :rofl:

Im going to test again on Friday morning and see how it goes.....fingers crossed and Ill let you know!! CD38 today!!

My first :bfp:'s were on ic's and much lighter than that one!

good luck for 2moro if tht came up within a min then i would say not an evap coz an evap is where it has dried where the ink would settle if it was positive and a minite aint enough time 4 it 2 dry if tht makes any sence at all

That definitely doesnt look like an evap line to me!! The clear blue tests are not as sensitive as the ebay cheapies! I think CB is either 25 or 50miu and the ebay cheapies I have are 10miu so much more sensitive, Im not sure what the sensitivity on your cheapies are but Im sure they are still more sensitive then CB!! tilly mum, i had cheapies come up like that but a tescos one i tried was much much fainter. i did more tesco ones at 13 and 14dpo and they came up positive.

Get some cheapies from wobbles and try hers, i got lines on both cheapies and convinced myself they both couldnt be wrong!

Those internet cheapies are notorious for evaps. I got two that looked exactly like that about three months or so ago. They had colour and everything. I thought, two can't be wrong, right?

Got AF the following day.

Those lines are pretty dark, you can see them on the little thumbnail pics with out making them larger. I'd say you got your BFP!!! Congrats!

I agree with the girls. There is definatly colour in there. Test again in a few days. :hug:

I don't think it's an evap. If you're not sure, just test again in the morning and make your OH try one too for comparison! :rofl:

The ic only need 10miu to show a positive. Mine were lighter than that at first but from past use i knew they were positive!... test again in the morinind, mine got slightly darker every day. Try a digital in a couple of days, they normally need 25miu, it should show by then. :hugs:

Ok so I tested again this morning and I'm still unsure, There is still something there, thought it's not any darker, if anything it could be lighter than wednesdays test. I think it has some colour though and the line appeared within 1 minute, but I'm not convinced.

I'm not hugely symptomatic, my bb's aren't sore or any bigger like they were last time, I have had cramps and rumblings for the last week. We'll see, still waiting for :witch: to arrive. CD39 today, though may have ov'd late 14 days ago not sure though....I'm so confused!!:hissy:

I'm away for a few days but might test again on sunday. It's not over till she flys in.

I don't mean to make you a POAS addict, but I sometimes got a clearer line with second morning urine, don't know why.

It still doesn't look like an evap. They're more gray and thin.

Oooohhh Im all exited for you hun, I hope its the start of your :bfp:.

My first bfp's were fainter than that on ic's and I did a frer (6 days early one) and got a faint pink line...try one of those....

did it come up within 10mins? mine came up after the 10mins but i am thinking their void because of that eventho their pink

Thanks for all your replies and you were right, I did another one and a FRER and got my :bfp: still faint but stronger than before, so 4 tests with a :bfp:.....

Now for the bad news, started getting really bad cramps on saturday same as when I started having trouble when last pregnant so I knew things were bad, started bleeding yesterday and definetly having a mc ..... nothing like a regular AF. Went to see doctor today and Im going to Epu tomorrow. She reckons I was 6 weeks and not a chemical preg. Doctor wants me to see a specialist as I have fibroids and v.high chance of mc with them again in the future.

Weirdly i'm ok as it all happend so quickly between BFP and mc, was a bit upset yesterday, but just p'd off that i'm having my 2nd mc within 3 months.:hissy:

Just have to hope that next time it will be a sticky one!
