stupid question

just wondering the health visitor is coming tomorrow, for the first time. and was wondering will she do the same as the midwife like weigh her and all that, or will anything be different?
sorry this is really stupid, just never been through all this before xx

When my Hv came she weighed Dec, measured length and head, asked a few questions about him and then talked a bit about me. Thats all I can remember

HV came to see me today for the first time. She weighed LO, and measured his length and head. She gave me some leaflets and a book, talked about what HV's do. She asked health related questions and how we were both doing. Very much like the MW really.

very similar to midwife but less of the examining you, more of looking forward..and I guess it depends on the HV but mine is less medically in her approach to any problems. I see mine every week at the moment, but I dont know how often most people see theirs.
