Another 2 period questions (maybe tmi)

I started my period again on friday and I had very little cramping which is fab because I used to have horrendous period pains. I have had a LOT of blood loss though. I usually had very heavy periods but the heavy flow usually only lasted the first 2 days then eased off a bit but it's the fourth day and still heavy. Is this normal for your first AF after giving birth? Also I noticed some blobs of stuff that looked like pinky discharge, they were jelly like on the outside but hard in the middle, about the size of a pea maybe a bit smaller (sorry, it's a bit gross!) Just wondered if anyone else had had this and if so what is it?

It could just be the last of the after birth coming away, but mention it to your mw/health visitor (not sure who you get at this stage).
My period was different after all my kids, before any kids it was heavy then worse after my first then better after the other 2. So its normal to experience changes in this area.

Im on my second AF now and well yeah its sounds almost like yours ..its pretty normal as my doc said your body is getting back to its normal stage ..so no worries hun !
