how much time you do have but seem to waste once bubs is here!! Despite the fact he sleeps most of the day I seem to waste my day away.
Neway that's not the real point of my post, I was just wondering if anyone else has experiance with a lactose intolerant baby? HV seems to think this may be the case with Max but it's too early to tell.
I'd like to hear from anyone who's had any experiance at all.

I heard my ex's little baby was lactose interolent, but they didnt no. And the baby just kept being sick, and they seen a few doctors that told them it was just a bug. The baby was really badly dehydrated and they took him to the hospital, thats when they discovered he was lactose interolent. I know they have to get the milk from the chemist x

See my lil man seems to have a funny tummy a lot and that's what made the health visitor say lactose intolerance. Well guess I'll just have to keep an eye on him and go to the gp if it gets worse.
Thanks xarlenex

My freinds baby was lactose intolerant and trust me you will know for sure if max is ..
The main signs are any of these right after feeding them
Throw up violently whatever was just ingested
They get red blothes all over there faces and tummy
When its a mild case there poop will be greenish yellow but extreamly slimy
Those were the 2 that made my freind bring her to the GP and find out that it was lactose intolerance ..now she feeds her a special formula and shes been great no spit ups nothing of that sort !

Hi my cousin was lactose intolerant....she was put on prosobee(sp?)
Sure its not reflux? if you look at the tins of milk it will tell you the least lactose.
Cow and gate comfort 1 is what tabs is on and it has around a third of what sma has in it. it is also a thicker feed so stays down and gets digested quicker.(has faster flowing teats though for the thick feed to get through)
Although she is also on anti sickness meds....ranitidine and domperidone.
Get your dr to check LO out and mention the above :-)
