Implanon

Has anybody had this as their choice of contraception? If so, would you recommend it? And have you had any side effects?

I've got this not really noticed anything but the bleeding, I have bled quite alot like say 3weeks at a time stop for a couple then back again but this is only meant to happen for 6months then periods are meant to be light or non existant, only had it since april, If you can stick out the first 6 months i think it should be good, if it doesn't work then get it taken out.

I had it for the full 3 years. The first year i had light bleeding on, and off, but after that it was ok. After that my periods were very light, and irregular. The most important thing though, i did not get pregnant.
When i had it removed i got my BFP 2 weeks later so it definately does not effect long term fertility!!

I hated it, it did not ease my periods like the pill did. I had it removed and went back on the pill
