Hey Losers! :rofl: Anyone have a really good snack that craves a sweet tooth? I found a nice Popcorn Cake that you can have 6 of for 1 point. They arnt too bad! Cause they are covered in Caramel. They are low fat too... The brand is Hain!

I was in WW before, lost 50+lbs and kept it off a year. Now I have gained my weight back and I am rejoining WW next week! I am thrilled so this thread will be good for me!!! YAY!!!!

I'm not strickly doing weightwatchers but am counting calories and I have checked I'm on the perfect points for my weight. i dont mind hun either way :)

They are gorgeous hun, i bought a pack of 3 in mint and chocolate and they were yummy, they also do little tubs like ben/jerrys. Perfect for an after dinner treat:cloud9:
Do you get snack a jacks over there? There are lovely bags of lightly salted popcorn in snack a jacks. They are 48 calories and a trace of fat:happydance: and they are about the same as a bag of crisps/potato chips:happydance:
there is yummy low calorie/low fat food out there, you just have to look harder :)
But porridge is a winner for me, low calorie/fat and very filling :)
oh and I break my meals up into smaller but often meals so that I'm eating 4 smaller meals and it keeps my blood sugars from dipping :)

woohoo...im on weightwatchers but only started last monday..before that i had lost 6lbs on a low fat diet but it wasnt for me. On weightwatchers i can a bit of what i fancy. Tonight is weigh in! I bet ive put some on coz i had a really naughty day on thursday!
Weightwatchers own coconut chocolate bars are nice and rich so cure the sweet tooth.

I am a big fat loser this week again :smug: I have lost 3lbs:happydance::wohoo: plus I have had my af so I think I've done well:happydance: 1 more lb til normal bmi, hey check out my bmi today:happydance: and wait for it 3 more lbs till I am at pre-pregnancy weight:happydance: so I should be at/below pre-pregnancy weight by the time Katie is 1:cloud9:
I am so happy, people have commented, including my oh who said to not loose anymore :shock: but I am sticking to this now:happydance:
It was hard yesterday:cry: I was at my nephews b'day party and there lots of yummy food and of course I was given some cake:cry: It was gorgeous, but I only had a half slice :smug: and had a few smarties:blush:

I dont know what i put earlier but it was wrong, i thought it was 10lb in a stone ... ffs i was having a thick one.

Hey ONly just noticed this thread, i've been going weight watchers for three weeks.
so start weight was 13st6
first week doing ww i lost 3 1/2
this week weigh in was today i lost 21/2 with af
So 6lbs lost woop and i really stuggled the first week.
my target is a stone so far but i want to get down to 10st

Girls I have found a delicious treat and I mean its gorgeous. They are in the freezer compartment and are belgian eclairs from weightwatchers and they are yummy:cloud9: they are 81 calories and 1 1/2 points:happydance: and it only takes 20 minutes to defrost them:happydance: them I said, I should have said it:cry: I only had oints left for 1:cry:

In my last stint in WW, I started at Flex and then moved to Core. This time around, I have decided to start with Core and I was wondering if anyone else was going to be in the same boat as me. :hugs:

I eat all kinds of WW brand Icecream... Mint and Chip, Chocolate Fudge, Chocolate Sunday Cones, English Toffee bars, Sandwichs.... :rofl: Im addicted... but have to have it every night ... each 2 points :smug:

This week is good, I have high hopes that I will do well...... I did have to tap into my flex allowance points a few days but over all... I did really good. Just need to get the weigh in to confirm. But I put on a size 16 skirt today.... :wohoo: I tried it on last week and could not zip it up all the way.... :headspin:

Well, what you need to do is answer these questions and give yourself points for the correct answer that fits you....
1. Are you:
Female = score 2
Male = score 8
A nursing mom = score 12
2. How old are you?
17 - 26 = score 4
27 - 37 = score 3
38 - 47 = score 2
48 - 58 = score 1
Over 58 = score 0
3. What do you weigh?
Enter the first 2 didgits of your weight in pounds. For example, if you weight 175, enter 17. If you weight less than 100 pounds enter the first digit of your weight in pounds, i.e. for 98 enter 9.
4. How tall are you?
Under 5'1" = score 0
5'1 - 5'10" = score 1
Over 5'10 = score 2
5. On most days of the week, how do you spend your day?
Sitting Down (receptionist, bus driver, office work) = score 0
Occcasionally sitting, but mainly standing? (sales person, housewife, cook, teacher) = score 2
Walking most of the time? (waiter, mailman) = score 4
Doing physically hard work most of the time? (nurse, gardener, construction worker) = Score 6
Now add up your score and that will be how many points you can have a day :headspin: You will have to recalculate your points as you lose weight.

Meil, if you want, I can get you a book the next time I go to WW and it will tell you all the point values of food. I think it only costs $10.... if you want. Let me know. It helps for getting a good idea....
But Most Veggies are 0 points... alot of fruit is 1 point. Banannas are 2 points. Just think, Low low fat, low calories, high fiber and your good to go. Chicken breasts are good. You can go to the website... www.weightwatchers.com (http://www.weightwatchers.com) but they dont have alot on the free side of the site. (I have not joined the pay side of the site)

Nothing really, but you can not carry them over to the next day. You do get 35 Point allowances for the week, but try not to use them. (I find if I do I dont do as well in the weight loss)
You need to eat to. You need 6 8 oz glasses of water a day, 5 fruits & Vegetables, 2 milks, and 2 Oils.
I found some really good thin slised 98% fat free deli meat and fat free cheese. Makes a great snack. 1 slice of the diet bread , mustard, 1/2 piece of cheese and the meet. Makes for a 1 point snack (if you find the meat that is 0 points)
I eat alot in a day....I have a breakfast, a snack, a lunch, a snack, and dinner, and ICECREAM! :rofl: OH and beer.
Miller just came out with a 64 cal beer that is only 1 point :headspin:
8 oz glass of Wine is 2 points.

i am going to go groceries shopping on sunday :)
i weigh myself this morning and i was at 168 pounds i am 5'7 tall was at 164 10 days ago ...i wonder if having AF is affecting my weigh but i will weigh myself again on Sunday :)
anyway i will love to be 150 by the time we go to VEGAS Suz!!!
PS: i used to be in around 145 pound gain a lot of weigh 3 years ago went up to 188 pounds !!! and in a year i shed them off and was 145 so i can do it i am sure:) i just need to get back to my exercise routine during the week !

I weigh-in on Monday :argh: I hope to have got off 1-2 lbs. I have started my exercise dvd again :wohoo: I aim to do it 3 times a week, because I know these last lbs will be the hardest to shift plus I need to get toned up.
Diet-wise I'm doing good but I am finding it hard to eat my points (I'm on 20) I counted last night I had only ate 13 1/2 so I had an eclair and some porridge to at least get 18 into me.
I will be happy to get off 1-2 lbs off per week now but I have learned alot about my food intake in the last 3 weeks. I have learned that there is lots of great food out there if you look for it.:cloud9:
I hope everyone else is doing good too :)

omg ive had such a bad few days...ive binged on chocolate...even a pizza...chips...omg, if i lose anything this week it'll be amazing...
I dont know...i blam my OH...he'll sit and say things like "u dont realise how amazing this is...it tastes so good...bet u wish u can have this...id better eat double for you" and my enthusiasm has gone out the window..but tomorrow...thats it, im gunna wear ear plugs and im gunna start all over again!!
So disappointed in myself..

So the last few days has been awesome! I am doing Core which is easier for me and last night Jack and I went out to Applebees and I ate off the Weight Watchers menu so that was fun too.

I have lost half a lb. Suz i got told by my leader u can carry them over but only 4 points a day say if your going on a night out or having a takeaway u can save 4 points a day for the end of the week or when ever that week but u have to use them that week. and u have to have at least use 14 points a day to make sure ur having enough food.

I dont like eating breakfast but i force myself to eat something now...and then im not hungry til evening dinner...but then im only using about 10 points a day when im allowed 22.
It doesnt make sense to me that i have to eat more to lose weight but hey :shrug: if it works it works lol

I am not a breakfast eater. but I eat Special K bars in the morning so I have something. They are 2 points. Eat snacks a nice lunch and a good dinner. My dinners are mostly chicken. But I hardly ever use all my points in a day. I think Vicky said her Leader said to make sure to get atleads 14 points in a day.

Thats correct, I got told that you should have at least 14 points a day to make sure your eatting enough, and too if you miss a meal out it messes with your motabolism, so when you do eat your body doesn't think its going to be fed again so stores more as fat.

Pre preg - 240lbs
Highest Pregnancy weight - 252lbs
Today - 214lbs seemed to have hit a plateau
I gave birth on July 11th, been eating carefully, but other than that I havent been given the go ahead yet on excersising, so I don't really know why I am losing weight... but deff not complaining, lol.
Can't wait to get to ONEderland, I havent been under 200 since I was 16, now 24.

I was going to push myself a little more and try to lose another 7lbs but i really cant be arsed lol I am the size i was for 8 years before having Coby and Adam, and this is the size i was when i met Jase, so im more than happy. So im out and done! i can finaly eat real food again lol, start full time work on Monday so i know i will keep the weight off.

I made a mistake......:cry:
I made the mistake of baking chocolate muffins for the kids:dohh: they smelled yummy so I thought I'll have the smallest one but then I went back and ate another:blush: I havent a clue how many points they are but I'm guessing its alot:dohh:
ah well they were yummy:happydance: but I wont do that again for a while, thing is I normally bake at least once a week for them and I've been very good....up to now :roll: still the exercise must give me extra points and I never go over my allowance so I'll not get too annoyed over it :lol:

hun have u counted your points right hun??? cos every time u go down a stone e.g i started at 13 st 6 i've now gone to 12 st 11 so i was at 22 points now im down to 21 points cos i lost a point every time i go down a stone if that makes sence
Just 28 points seems alot when u have only 19 lbs to go.

She might be high because she is breastfeeding. I read in the book that you add alot to your points if your a breastfeeding mother... :)

Well, what you need to do is answer these questions and give yourself points for the correct answer that fits you....
1. Are you:
Female = score 2
Male = score 8
A nursing mom = score 12
2. How old are you?
17 - 26 = score 4
27 - 37 = score 3
38 - 47 = score 2
48 - 58 = score 1
Over 58 = score 0
3. What do you weigh?
Enter the first 2 didgits of your weight in pounds. For example, if you weight 175, enter 17. If you weight less than 100 pounds enter the first digit of your weight in pounds, i.e. for 98 enter 9.
4. How tall are you?
Under 5'1" = score 0
5'1 - 5'10" = score 1
Over 5'10 = score 2
5. On most days of the week, how do you spend your day?
Sitting Down (receptionist, bus driver, office work) = score 0
Occcasionally sitting, but mainly standing? (sales person, housewife, cook, teacher) = score 2
Walking most of the time? (waiter, mailman) = score 4
Doing physically hard work most of the time? (nurse, gardener, construction worker) = Score 6
Now add up your score and that will be how many points you can have a day :headspin: You will have to recalculate your points as you lose weight.
Yeah, if your a nursing mom, give yourself 12 points instead of 2 :happydance:

ok just did the quiz to find out my points allowance.... saves me finding my book :)
34.......... MY GOSH!!! I was only on 21 when I did it a couple of years back lol!!
And thats putting 0 for my job... all though I think looking after a baby is a job in it self!!
but an extra 12 for bf-ing.... cant believe it!!
Def going to start point counting tomorrow..... :) was going to calorie count as that worked for me pre-pregnancy but as Im bf-ing etc this WW is much more structured plus I still have all my old magazines with recipies in etc!!

breastfeeding exclusively- 10
supplementing breastfeeding with solid foods- 5
as I sometimes give my LO formula I didnt think it was fair to take the full 10!!

also the women at the shop bit at this meeting couldnt believe i had a baby 9 days ago :):) so thats made my day :rofl:
So I weighed myself this morning as sundays are going to be my weigh day and Ive lost another 1lb :)

Is there a certain amount of points you are required to eat everyday? I'm allowed 28 points but I only eat about 15 - 20 (I wake up late lol). Also is there a list of places you are allowed/aren't allowed to eat @?
hun have u counted your points right hun??? cos every time u go down a stone e.g i started at 13 st 6 i've now gone to 12 st 11 so i was at 22 points now im down to 21 points cos i lost a point every time i go down a stone if that makes sence
Just 28 points seems alot when u have only 19 lbs to go.
Yep I added them correctly, I'm breastfeeding though so that might be why.

I always do much better whenever my water-intake has been good, I rarely feel hungry too so it would figure we'd do better the more we drink:happydance:
Get that water into you kerry, drinking less atm will make you retain more.

i used to drink loads and your right it def fills you up!!! they say as well that alot of us mistake thirst for hunger!!
water will also help my milk flow!! that is still quite poor!!:(

When I was bf Joe I drank 4 litres a day and I could have bf the whole of the nicu :D so yes drinking more water will definitely boost your supply:cloud9:

To be honest, I feel like a "NEW" person. Mind, Body, and Sole!
Eating health has changed me alot... I am in such a good mood all the time, and my period was even ok this month. Not alot of cramps. I am loving how I am eating now and think that this is something I can do for the rest of my life. I dont miss the CRAP I was eating. I am sooooooo HAPPY!!!!!

I keep skipping in posting in here, O.k started with miel 2weeks ago, since been in the 2WW... from being ill and all i have lost +/-11/12 pounds and i wanted to lose 66pounds and i am down to 54.2 pounds to lose....
I have not been excercising as i have just not been able to stomace anything, or any large amount....

I have been really naughty the last couple of weeks not gone over broad, but had a wedding one weekend, then another the weekend after, then the weekend just gone had to go my nans cos my great granny past away so the week just gone was a bad week.
But i'm determind to get back on track. counting my points agian and watching what i'm eatting and i went for a walk today just me and kira to the weigh in clint and back home took me about 20-30 mins each way.

I asked about this today and its because my bmi is high the form was an a4 piece of paper with nhs on the top had orange on it somewhere, depending on your weight depends whether you get 3 6 9 or 12 months free apparantly ask about it but im not sure your as over weight as me chick!

Ok - here's my weight story
Used to be a big kid and shed all my excess by the time I was 16 with exercise and good eating.
Kept it up till last year before I got pg. Then I put on 66lbs. I've managed to shed about 37lbs but can't get the rest of it off :hissy: even with exercise and healthy eating.
Perhaps I can pick up some pointers from some experts here!

yeh please do... I saw my doc and just mentioned all the water Im still carrying... he replied that it is still early days!! Which got me thinking that maybe he would say the same about my weight!!
Im gonna continue doing it from home.... (although been for an indian tonight :() and next time I see him talk to him about my BMI etc then!! As it has only been 2 weeks they may not be so keen in giving out the vouchers!!

I'm having a good day, within my points again and have done my 1 hours aerobics for the 3rd time this week :smug: but I'm on my nasty :witch: so I'm guessing the scales wont be co-operating with me this week as I feel bloated and crappy and cranky:hissy:

i had half korma and half masala.... so like the worst dishes ever!!!
But I had a good daytime....!! Previous Kerry would have the mindset of "well Im going for a curry so eat eat eat in the day"!!! But I did well!!
I cant wait to start excercising again!!

I think I'd kill for a masala:dohh: but in the past I have tortured myself by weighing myself before/after and it puts 4lbs on me:dohh: so I cant see it happen in the near future:hissy:

well i did ww about 4-5yr ago,and the gym 3times a wk,i was 13stone when i started and got to 10stone,but i then moved outa that town and just didnt keep up with it:( so now im approx 12-13stone(guna weigh monday and post then..n weigh every monday) im wanting to again get 1 10-10.5 stone,im starting ww and im goin2see the gym im hopin to join by monday,its fantastic with a gym,sauna,jacuzzi and pool,although i wudnt even dare wear swim wear,thats how low my confidence is:( my dh gary is also joining the gym with me so this shud be easier doin it2geva!
ive suffered from deppression for so many yrs...this was the main reason why i started the gym 4yrs ago,and its true it helps fantasticley:)
im ttc#1,sadley had a mc in mar08 and im just wanting to get my body and mind in a better positive manner,for my body to be perfect for my soon sticky:bfp: ... so ladies i will post on monday with my start weight and excercise plan ....u'v all done fantastic !!! WELL DONE ALL OF YOU! and i be ere monday :):hug:

nah, hubby is working away from home so I'm on my lonesome now, kids all in bed:cry: but I have you lot so its ok:happydance: and 6 episodes of sex & the city in a row:happydance:
for my birthday I've done ok, have nibbled on some nice things but they're all lowfat nice things and I dont think I'm much over my points for today:happydance: so not too bad for my birthday:happydance:
but I think the scales will say I either havent lost or I've put on, it hasnt been my best week:blush: plus :witch: I'm surely doomed but I will get my arse into gear next week....I tried a pair of jeans on today in 'next':dohh: big mistake they made my thighs look humongus,(I'm sure most of it is in my head, I mean the jeans were a size 12 and actually fitted :shock: ) it wasnt the confidence boost I needed today but made me more determined that I definitely want to reach my goal!

I'm doing weightwatchers which I think is really good because nothing is out of bounds which makes you believe that in actual fact you're not on a 'diet'. I borrowed all the books, points finders from my brothers girlfriend so I havent had to even go to a meeting but the meetings would be fab for added support :) but the support of the girls on here is amazing:happydance:

i havent been too bad today.... had a rough night and lo is being just as demanding today so ive not been thinking about food!!!
Put it this way had my lunch at 3am and had to eat it with her in my arms..... which is where she is now!! she likes the clicking lol
had jacket potato for dinner.... they are becoming a fave :)
was thinking earlier .... weighing myself on a sunday morn is a bit silly lol... especially when sat night is ideal take away night!! :)

question....
does anyone find them selfs not hungry but want to eat anyway, i never feel hungry (except maybe mornings) but i never seem to feel full satisfyed with what i have eatten not to think about food.
Does anyone else feel like this and if so how do u stop thinking about food.

i know where your coming from... i used to always feel like this!! but since had my lo my appetite has gone slightly!! Hoping it will be like that for a little longer....
just try and concentrate on something else.... maybe drink a pint of water instead...
often thirst is mistaken for hunger... :hugs:
