I was going to wait until i was 12 weeks to start this but i thought "what the heck" so here goes !!:happydance:

I meet my partner december 7th and i never believed in love at first sight until i clapped eyes on him !
From there on the inevitable happened :sex: ! There on the 7th of march a :bfp: was staring up at me !!!!!! :shock:

We were both very excited :happydance:

The following 2 weeks after finding out were filled with :sick::sick::sick::shock::shock::shock::wohoo::wohoo::wohoo: my emotions were wild !!
Told my mom and she is over the moon !!!

Still carnt quite believe fingers crossed by christmas i will be a mommy !!

April 30th ---

First midwife appointment ! Again my emotions are doing a number on me !! Im nervous as hell !
Got to the appointment and everything was fine filled all my notes in and booked my dating scan for 3.30pm on the 4th june !!

2nd may --

Ive made it to 8 weeks !! my sickness is definatly less this week although my appetite is growing !
Im feeling a little down today as i have been stuck in the house all week !! No car no job and no money !! Hopefully i should get my car soon and at least i can go see my friends for a chat and coffee.
I read in my book that the midwife gave me that my baby should be forming its face the mouth has a tongue and all the major internal organs are developing !

May 5th

Yesterday i was so tired all day i just wanted to sleep so the oh cooked a wonderful sunday roast with all the trimmings (and home made yorkies my fav!!) and then he baked a fruit loaf because all i want to eat are sweet things !!

I have been having dizzy spells to over the last few days and it really does feel like my sugar levels drop quite quickly so im going to give the docs a call tomorrow to see if i can get them tested (i have had problems in the past!)

Just to say you're journal sounds just like what happened with me and my OH, we met Nov 3rd and our LO due Nov 16th. Alot of people judged us but we are happy and that's all that matters. I wish you luck and hope that all goes well with your pregnancy hun xxx

Ok so i have just had a call off my mates who are all going out on friday in a fire engine limo for one of thems 30th !!
I had been asked to go but put off by one of them saying what was the point as i would just be miserable !
So i wont be going .

now i feel :sleep::shrug::munch::help::saywhat::saywhat::iron::laundry::dishes::hangwashing:

Dont get me wrong i LOVE being pg but i justr feel a little sad im missing this night out !!

Oh boy where has this sickness come from ????

I havnt been sick since last saturday night at my brothers (we went for dinner me thinks bubba dont like mexican !!)
I have woke up today and its hit me like a ten ton truck ! I was going to do so much around the house today but all i can do is sit here feeling yuk !!!

Well my sickness has died off this afternoon ! And ive managed to prepare a chilli for my OH ( i know he loves my chilli ) ! I wanted to do something nice for him as he has been so fantastic over the last few weeks.

Im now sat on my balcony with a glass of cold blackcurrent juice enjoying the sunshine !

10th -11th may

Well saturday i had a strange day i felt really unusual all day !! I felt tired and miserable ! think it was just the hormones again !:rofl:
We went to visit my mil and it was the first time i had seen her since we told her and she is over the moon !!

Yesterday my darling oh waited on me hand and foot , cooking a wonderful dinner and hanging the washing out and fetching it back in , he also started on some furniture we have for bubba , sanding it down and undercoating it ready for painting !!!!

Oh yeh also forgot to mention my mil is a trained in massage and aromatherapy so she has promise later on in the pregnancy loads of massages !!!!!:happydance:
She also trains couples in massage for use in labour so we will be getting lessons off her closer to the time !!

14th may

I have been to the doctors today as yet again i have thrush !!! Doctor reassured me its quite common during pregnancy ! :blush:

I have been getting real aches very low down the last couple of days no bleeding just really uncomfortable so i hope im just over reacting and its just normal streatching ect !

Ooo and im off to TFI Fridays tomorrow night for dinner with all my girlfriends looking forward to it as i havnt seen any of them for 3 weeks :happydance:

I had a fantastic night out with the girls !!

I ate chicken fillets in a jack daniels glaze for starter and then bbq ribs and fries for the main !!

I was going to have a desert as all the rest of the girls were ordering chocolate cake when i had an attack of the sickies !! :sick::sick:
So i didnt have cake :cry::cry:

But other than that it was wonderful to see them all.

Ok so today i have got up and im so miserable :cry: im feeling very sorry for myself !

I had really bad dreams last night and dont know wether that is what is wrong (infact my dreams were so horrible i got up and did a pregnancy test !!).
My oh has gone out and im all alone in the house ! I think im missing my friends that i would have just popped to see but now they are further away and i still dont have a car im feeling a little lonely !

20th may

So im not as miserable today :blush:
I went to see my friends yesterday and it was lovely i got the train (something i dont do very often) so i felt like i had been on a real outing :rofl:

We had a wonder around the shops and looked at the baby things ( i didnt buy anything !) came home and had a curry for tea. All night i have felt awful my tummy ached and i felt sick , i knew i would but i really wanted a curry but i think ive learnt my lesson :dohh:

Tomorrow im going to see my 2 old school friends they both have babies one is 8 months and the other is 6 months so i will be picking their brains.

I visited ny friends yesterday and their babies it was really nice to be around new moms and to pick their brains !

I came away with a bag of maternity clothes (which i have already washed and have on today !) and a bag of white baby things! They are my first baby things so i was very excited :happydance:
Im taking them to my sil tonight to store them for me as i dont want anything in the house yet :happydance::happydance:

It must be tough to feel isolated like that but I'm sure you'll make friends with other preggies before long and it's great that you've got friends with young babies. Hey, freebie maternity gear, great stuff! :happydance:

Are you going to antenatal classes yet? I met a couple of lovely peeps at mine last time. :)

Well its my scan tomorrow and the nerves are taking hold !!

I carnt wait to see if there really is a bean in there and my oh is more excited than me !! :happydance:

I took my piccy to show my friends yesterday and it was great they were all really sweet saying it was a lovely pic ! Made me feel very proud of my bean !

Oh yeh also forgot i bought myself 3 maternity tops yesterday from New Look !

A grey hoody sweatshirt (thought it would be great come the autumn!) £5
A pink top like tshirt material but with long sleeves £2
And a light blue tshirt with ''mommy to be'' on the front £5

So my 3 bargains totaled up to £12 !!!!

Me and the OH went into town and had a full english brekkie (mmm) then we had a wonder around the shops looking at the baby things (didnt buy anything !!) He then bought me a lovely maternity top from new look so now i carnt wait to wear it !!

We then had a drive to Mothercare world to just have a nose at some prams and cots ! Couldnt see any prams at all (really wasnt impressed !!) but we saw a beautiful cotbed ! It is a Humpreys corner one and i think i have fallen in love with it , it will also match the nursery perfectly.

We went to my nans where all the family meet on a saturday afternoon and got to show my scan pic off it was great !!

Finally the OH has popped out to see friends so im sitting watching rubbish on the tv debating with myself wether to order me a chinese !!!

Aw hun, I've just read your journal and it sounds like pregnancy is a real rollercoaster of emotions. I've just started my journey and I'm really looing forward to, but its good to get an idea of what might be in store. It sounds like you've got a great OH there and you obviously get on well with both sets of parents too - which is fantastic. Really glad that you haven't been put off by others who really don't know your relationship.

I hope you find that phone cable soon so we can see the piccy! And are you going to get the Humphrey cot?

11th june

The oh came home from work yesterday and told me he has had to take a 20% pay cut hes a plasterer and with all the stuff going on with the housing market it was the only way his company can keep going !!!!!

I feel totally useless because im not working and no one will take me on !!!
So things are going to get a little tight around here !

On the up side we are looking at moving back to birmingham soon so im closer to my family and friends when the baby is born !

Oh and ive just booked my 16 week appt with the midwife for my blood tests and to hear the babys heartbeat !! Its the 25th june at 3.00pm :happydance:

I was lying in bed last night and i felt this flicker ! It made me jump and it vanished ! So i wasnt to sure, but again this morning i was lying really still and i felt it again !!!!

!6th june !!

Not such a good day ! I had a phone call from my mom in the morning and there had been a fire at her block of flats in the early hours , everyone got out ok but they have to wait until today to find out how bad things are !

I woke up yesterday feeling a little on the warm side took no notice and went off out , but as the day went on my face started to feel hotter and hotter ! My cousin pointed out i was now covered in a rash !!
I phoned the doctors who managed to fit me , He told me it was more than likely a reaction to something ! He asked me what i had eaten and i told him !!

STRAWBERRIES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was what had done it , I bloody craving them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get that when I drink alcohol so I can totally sympathise with you and with craving what you can't have too. I'm allergic to wheat!

It just makes you feel like :tease: doesn't it.

Had a really uncomfortable night , i have bad pains down my left hand side ! I think its just really bad stretching pains and im being a wimp but it is making me feel abit yucky !!

Im so tired to but i just carnt sleep !

At least my rash has gone now ! I wish next wednesday would hurry up so i can see my midwife !!!

23rd June

Had a quiet weekend didnt really do very much !

We went out for breakfast on saturday but i dont think bubba was over keen on a full english as i spent most of the day feeling sick !!!

The OH has been looking for another car for us , as hes a plasterer the car is always covered in dust so we are going to get a CLEAN family car for me !!

Im looking forward to my midwife appointment on wednesday it will be lovely to hear bubbas heartbeat !

What a good idea to get a second car that's not covered in plaster dust! :D That stuff gets everywhere doesn't it?! Both of the pubs we had had regulars who were plasterers and by the end of a Friday session the floor was covered in red and white dust and it's a nightmare to sweep up too.

It will be great to hear your LOs HB I can't wait for mine. :)

26th june


Had my midwife appt yesterday and heard bubbas Hb , i felt quite overwhelmed !! found out my blood group was D negative so i will have to have a couple of injections , but nothing to worry to much about !

The oh has booked a week off work in 2 weeks time so we are going away and i carnt wait just me and him and the seaside !!

Aw Seaside holiday :laugh2: that's fab sweetie. Oooo I can't wait for ours now either. :dance:

Ive had an emotional weekend and no idea why !! my rash reappeared saturday morning and I cried and cried on saturday night for no reason whatsoever , i felt so low and nothing made me feel any better.

It lasted most of sunday to , my poor oh was fantastic and just cuddled me when i wanted one and kept out of my way when i didnt !!

I had my hair done yesterday which made me feel much better and im having a couple of days just pottering around home. Hopefully my bad mood will lift soon !

I'm with on that sweetie.

I feel like a pile of toilet myself today.

I had a family party last weekend and i had bought myself a fantastic maternity dress and felt lovely in it !
I had lots of ''whens it due'' and ''do you know what your having '' it was lovely !

On monday i got up with and awful headache so i took some paracetemol and went back to bed ! It didnt go away so yesterday the oh took me to see the midwife , it seems i have a virus thats just giving me a headache !! Her orders where take the painkillers for 24 hours every 6 hours and sleep !!! Oh and drink more !!
On the plus side we got to hear bubbas heart beating away !!

At least it was something difinitive that you could do something about. :hugs:

Back from my holidays !!

We had the most fantastic time ! The OH got some surfing in and i got to do some shopping !!

My oh was in one of the shops when he picked up a little tshirt for bubba a pair of shoes for me (which are supposed to help you walk properly if your feet swell !) and a nursing bra in the right size !
Dont know wether it was my hormones but as we walked out of the shop i was crying like a big girl !!!!

I have my scan tomorrow afternoon so all my panicky feelings have returned !!

So i had my 20 week scan yesterday and it was fantastic !!!!

They scanned me for nearly half hour as bubba kept wiggling away !(might be shy !:rofl:)

The lady was lovely she showed us everything including bubbas kidneys and the 4 chambers of the heart !

On the way home i was sat in the car and had a ''Oh my god im having a baby !!'' moment cried a little but then i was fine !! :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I have got to have a scan at 34 weeks as the placenta is low but other than that everything is fine !

20 WEEKS TO GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got home yesterday after a day out with friends and i had the HUGE ankles !!!! i felt tired and sick all evening because i was so hot.

I didnt sleep well either so i was expecting to feel awful today but i dont i feel good so im going for a wonder to the shops to get a few bits and pieces that i dont really need ! :rofl:

My mil has gone in for her operation today aswell so im waiting for news to make sure shes ok !

My mil is back home resting now and the op went really well just the chemo to get through next but shes a fighter !!!

I didnt get ANYTHING from the shops just didnt see much i liked (will look this weekend instead !)

I went out for dinner last night with with my 2 old friends had a good chat about bubba (it was lovely as they have little ones and are actually intrested in my baby !) stuffed myself and got heartburn all night but it was worth it for the Knickerbocker glory !!!!! :rofl::rofl:

I'm glad you had a good night honey; makes up for not finding anything to buy. :D I have to go maternity shopping on Sunday and I'm totally dreading it. I'm not very good at clothes shopping at the best of times but when I've nicknamed myself 'The Dumpling'...

Ive been feeling unwell all day (caught a cold off the OH ) but this evening ive been having really bad pains either side of bump ! I think they are just really bad stretching but if they are no better tomorrow im off to the doctors.

I am feeling over the moon though as we bought our moses basket today !! Its beautiful , its a cream waffle pattern with silver and gold stars on the top , i just LOVE it !!

We have also definatly deceided that the mamas and papas herbie is the pram for us we went and had a mess and a mooch at it today and even tried it in the car and it fits so thats the one for us !!!! Now all i have to do i choose the colour :rofl:

I have been aslo told im going to be having a baby shower closer to my due date !! My cousin who is also my best friend told me yesterday that she is organising one for me , im really excited because i didnt think my friends were very interested in my pregnancy !!

Im feeling so achy today ! My back is killing me and so is bump !

I can feel bubba wiggling like mad but i just feel so yuck !!

I had a slight brownish discharge this morning so again im feeling so paranoid that something is going to happen !!

Had a lovely night out with my girlfriends.

I saw a friend of a friend who is due 11 days after me and she was HUGE compared to me !! Made me feel fantastic ! ( sorry if that sounds bitchy but we have history !)

I was even told how beautiful i looked by one of my male friends so i am feeling lovely today !!

Me and the oh have been listening to music today to find our womb song for baby !!

Back in April i lost my ring that my oh had bought me for xmas , i was heartbroken it was the first gift he had bought me since being together and it was bloody expensive !!

We searched for WEEKS !! We turned the flat upside down with no luck !

I came home today after having a horrible day sat on the side of my bed and there it was lying on the floor !!! I carnt believe it !!

Im so happy to have it back !

Thats lucky i actually lost(well i say lost my daughter hid my wedding ring) the other week and it turned up in her playbox bout 5days later!!

Well ive made it to the 3rd tri !!

I carnt quite believe im pregnant let alone 14 weeks off actually having this baby !!

im still feeling ok just a little more tired and i have a niggley back ache most days.

We have nearly finished painting bubba's nursery just the last coat to go on and then i may even start hanging the curtains and things !!

Having a tired miserable day !!

I feel so weak and i have a terrible headache i hope its just my low blood pressure and iron levels !!

My oh is putting the final coat of paint in the nursery this weekend so i will hopefully beable to get in there in the next couple of weeks to start getting it ready !

Well after the horrible day yesterday me and the oh were exhusted last night !!

So today we got up and had to trundle off to the hospital for my anti d injection and we had to get the bus , bit of a novelty as we just always rely on the car !

We were in the hospital 10 mins at the most which was great , so we got the bus into town and had a mooch around a few shops and then the oh treated me to lunch at the pub. We then went and collected the new car !! It is FANTASTIC !!! perfect family car !!!

So after such a bad day yesterday today has been wonderful !!

I went to the hospital today for my anti d injection !

I had my liitle panic with bubba not moving but everything was fine and its been party on in there ever since !!!

Still not done anything else towards the arrival apart from my dad is going to order my pram next week so at least i dont have to worry about sorting that out !

We have deceided that we will go and do ALL the baby and xmas shopping in one weekend in about 2 weeks time so i can wrap it all up and not have to do the evil packed xmas shopping !!

hopefully i will be able to finish the other bits i need over the next couple of weeks !!

Oh and my friends have informed me my baby shower is booked for the 12th november !!

I've just started putting stuff aside for mine and OH is bringing my suitcase home tonight from the lockup. It's getting exciting now. :dance:

Buba has probably turned inwards a bit so it's more difficult to feel the movements. As long as you can count 10 in 24hrs then you're sure to be fine but if you really are worried then just give your MW a ring or go into the hospital. They'll monitor you and check baby over just to be sure. :hugs:

Well the placenta moved so we can have a natural birth !

Im feeling huge and very very tired all of a sudden !

My baby shower was a night i will never forget, my friends went to so much trouble it overwelmed me !!
I had the most beautiful gifts to , i have one very lucky bubba !!

37+1 and feeling awful !!

I have a huge coldsore (havnt had one for years!!) ,headache and lots of pains in the bump !!

Im sssooo tired i could cry !!!

Hearing bubbas hb later at my mw appt should make me feel better !!!
