Does anyone else have this one and have you had problems fitting it into your car? I've found that the seat belt hardly fits around it and after reading some reviews I think it's a common problem. Also you have to remove the hood before putting it in the car so what's the point in having the hood?!

I got this one the other day but haven't tried it in the car yet, will let you know when I do and if it fits :)

Didn't know you had to take the hood off though :| I know you have to take the footmuff thing off.

hope you know what i mean.

how come you have to take off the hood and why do you have to take the footmuff off?

Hi, ive got this car seat as well and ive got it in black.

Ive got two friends who are pregnant, one of them has bought two of these, one for her car and one for her partners car, the other friend went to buy this car seat from babies r us and they tried it in her car before she bought it, she has a S reg astra and it wont fit in hers. My friend who has two has tried it in a Audi A4 and she says it only just fits. But you have to tip it up a bit to get it in and cant really put it in the car properly with the baby in it, which seems pointless. Yes, you have to take the hood off as well. I have a 5series BMW but i havent tried it in our car yet. BUt were thinking about just keeping this car seat for using on the pram and then getting a Graco car seat as you can get bases that fit into the car then all you have to do is just pop the car seat on the base when you need to use the car instead of messing about with the seatbelt everytime.

i have it (in dark grey) i have a 54-reg peugot 207 and it fits ok in the front (air bag off) and the back, dont have to take hood off either, i find if i put the belt across her legs first it goes round the back of the chair easier xxx

The reason I didn't buy it is because it wouldn't fit in the car. The seat belt wouldn't go around it atall!

We have this car seat in the jet sport and it fits in ours perfectly, we have a ford focus sport, you do have t take the hood off, we only use the hood when we attach the carseat to the pram.

we've bought it in a blue colour, we tried it half heartedly in the car when i bought it at 12 weeks (!) i say half heartedly because i sooooo wanted it to fit, i didn't want to know if it didnt!! (that was my majorly irrational period)we really need toget it from my mum and dad's and see...

Im a tad late posting on this, but yes i do have it. It does fit in my car, I have a 2004 model pegeot 307, its a tight fit, but it does fit. if my seat belts were a few inches smaller it wouldnt mind, but any way.

I don't know if im being silly but why would you want the hood on in the car? I know I can barely see her when I turn round to glimpse and make sure she is ok so its beyond me why you would want the hood on in the car when it takes a matter of seconds to take it on & off, no quicker than pulling the hood up or down really.
